6B Unit 3 Asking the way 教学设计
本课是围绕Mr Smith和Yang Ling之间“问路”的对话展开各种语言活动的。重点在于学习问路中常涉及的相关用语:Can you tell me the way to…?及其答句,同时学习和问路相关的一些词汇。为此,我给本节课设定的教学目标是:
1、To enable Ss to understand and speak the words and phrases: way, get, along, street, take, stop, road…
2、To enable Ss to understand and speak the sentences: can you tell me the way to…?/ Where is the…?/How can I get to the…? Go along this street, and turn…at the…crossing, the…is on your…./ To get there faster, you can take bus NO. …
3、To arouse the Ss’s interest in English.
To achieve the aims, I designed the follow steps:
Step One: Warm-up and preview
1. Free talk between T and Ss or Ss and Ss.
(此环节是为了调动学生的积极性,同时告诉学生英语课开始了,对于这一部分,我把任务分配给班上的值日生,学生轮流着来,每天上课前带班上同学唱一首英文歌,或者是说一段chant,或者是问几个问题等等)
Step Two: Presentation
1.Ask and answer in groups.
(此环节为检查学生的预习情况,在教学新课之前,要让学生学会自己先学,自己发现问题,为此,我设计以下预习题:
一、        找出下列单词的音标并学着去读。

在这当中,我要求学生在预习单词的时候除了要找到音标学着读,还要给这个单词组词,可以的话还可以用它来说一句话,真正做到词不离句。)

(这是在解决课文重难点之后,让学生在观看课文录像的基础上对课文的一个整体感知,是对课文内容的一个整合)

A: How far is it?
B: It’s about … kilometre(s) away. To get there faster ,you can take bus No. ….

(把学生分成小组,然后每个小组代表一个地方,让学生用本课的重点句型对话,这是对课文内容的一个升华,是让所学的英语知识学以致用的一个过程)
