1first 前加必须加the如： the first day of the new term.2.there be 就近原则，靠近be动词的是复数用are,靠近的是单数用is 如：

14.He / she / It / 人名 / my mother / my father 等词表示第三人称单数。 后面的动词需要加s 或 es 、 如： He likes reading.My mother likes the cat very much.
