3AUnit 1 Let’s go to the park.Today, I'm going to talk about my plan for teaching Part A of Unit 8 Let’s go to
the park, Fun with English 3A. First, I'd like to say something about the teaching aims:
1. They will learn the drills: Let’s go to ...All right./OK./Great. But how?
2. The will learn the new words: zoo, park, cinema, by bike, by plane, by car, by bus.
3. Learn to say the dialogue fluently. The teaching difficulties are:
--To understand and grasp the dialogue and be able to put them into use in situations.
--To act the dialogue. Second, let me say something about my ways of teaching.
Teaching English at primary schools aims at the students' basic skills in listening
and speaking and their interest in English. I shall use English song and chant,
pictures, games to motivate the students. They will pick up the language in a nat
natural way. Third, I'm going to talk the teaching steps: Step 1 Free talk 1. Revision. 2. To ask students to listen to some voices about the animals. Review some animal words. Rationale: Listening is helpful in reviewing what students have learned and are also helpful in preparing the students for the next step.
Step 2 Presentation and practice 1. Look and learn
T: These animals all live together. They are very happy everyday. What do they live?
T: I’m happy. But I speak a lot. So I’m tired now. I want to have a rest. Let’s go to see a film.
T: Let’s go to a place to have a picnic and play some games.
2. Show some pictures and learn the new words: zoo, cinema, park.
3. Introduce the sentences: Let’s go to…. OK./ Great./ All right.
4. Learn the sentences: But how? By bus / By car/ By plane/By bike.
5. Say a rhyme about the drills.6. Sing the song “We ‘re happy.” Rationale: pictures are necessary and they can help students learn the new words easily. Step 3 Read and say Divide students into groups of four. They will be required to act the dialogue after reading the dialogue follow the tape. Rational: group working helps students develop their cooperative skills. And listening to the tape helps developing their listening ability. Step 4 Consolidation Show a map of China. Ask the children to choose a place and a kind of vehicle to practise the drills with partners. Rationale: To check how much students have learned in the class. Step 5 Assign homework After class, students act the dialogue in English.Rationale: The assignment encourages students to speak more English and to brush up what they have just learned. 谢谢你的分享!!!
