2. Demands:
1.      Ss are able to listen and say:
Get up. Go to school. Go home. Go to bed.
2. Ss are able to listen and say:
Goodbye. See you. Good night.
3、Ss can listen and say
a desk, a chair, a sofa, a bed, a table, a fridge, a telephone, a bookcase.
4、Use This is a/an to introduce things and use This is to introduce the family members.
5、Be able to sing the song Goodbye!

A   Learn to say
1.           Contents:
Part A.
2.           Demands:
1、Be able to use the expressions get up ,go to school, go home, go to bed.
2、Know the expressions: “Goodbye.” “Good night.” “See you.”
3、Know the expression OK. All right.
4、Be able to use Dad and Mum.
3. Emphases:
Four verb phrases: get up, go to school, go to bed, go home.
4. Difficulties:
1、Four verb phrases.
2、Three expressions: Goodbye. See you. Good night.
5. Preparations:
1、Cards of verb phrases.
2、A clock
6. Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 To lead in.
⑴Daily greeting
⑵Free talk.
a.           T: S1, this is S2.
S1: Nice to meet you./Good morning/Good afternoon./Hello.
S2: Nice to meet you, too./Good morning./Good afternoon./Hello.
Step2  Presentation and practice.
1、            Teach four v. phrases.
⑴Show a clock (6:30)
Ask a student to be David, and ask him to pretend to sleep, and the teacher be Mrs. Black, act p.1. Ss guess the meaning of get up. Then read after the teacher, then read together.
⑵Show a clock (7:00) (4:10) (8:30), and teach go to school, go home, and go to bed in the same way.
⑶Show the cards of verb phrases, and Ss read them read in chorus and then individually.
⑷Play a game: Listen and do.
Teacher say get up etc and Ss act it according to the teacher’s order
⑸Have a game “Look and say” Ask a student to stand in the front and act the verb phrases and Ss guess the phrase.
Step 3 Consolidation
1、Listen to the tape and read after the tape.
2、Read the text together.
3、Read by themselves
4、Read in pairs
5、Try to act the text
Step 4 Homework
1、Listen to the tape at least five times
2、Read the text at least five times
Boarding :
Unit 4 Goodbye
Get up.  6:30     Go to school  7:00
Go home   4:10    Go to bed  8:30
                Good night.  8:30
All right.=Ok.
Goodbye.=See you.
Dad =father
Mum =mother
Notes:
    The presentation of the four actions is too direct , Ss have no time to think. Some of them always think that All right has the meaning of get up, they always misunderstand these two sentences. T should remind them of the two sentences.


B   Look and  learn

Part B
2. Demands:
1、Be able to listen and say words: a sofa, a fridge, a table, a chair,a bed, a bookcase, a desk, a telephone
2、Be able to use This is a  ....
Emphases:
Words
Difficulties:
The reading of fridge,bookcase, telephone,chair
Preparations:
1、Tape
2、Pictures of the furniture and a blank piece of paper.
3、Cards of the new words
Procedures:
Step1 Revision and motivation
1、Greeting with the expressions of Good morning/afternoon .
2、Review the verb phrases
⑴Read them together
⑵Listen to the commends and act
⑶Look at Ss’ action and say
Step2 Presentation and practice
1、              T: Today I want to make my bedroom more beautiful, please help me.(show the blank piece of the paper)
2、              T: Here’s a sofa. (stick the sofa on the paper) ask Ss to read after the teacher, Then stick the word card on the bb)
T: Here’s a table.(stick the table on the paper)
T: A table (Show the card of table)
Ss read after teacher  ....
     Teach other words in the same way.
3、⑴Listen to the tape.
⑵Read after the tape.
⑶Read  together
4、Ask a student to come to the front and play a game. Magic eyes.

5、Teacher show the pictures one by one.
And Ss say out one by one.
6、Play a game. (pass the picture when singing , then stop singing and the St who get the picture must say the furniture )
Step3 Consolidation:
1、Do the workbook
2、Ask Ss to stick  the pictures on the bb behind the corresponding word card.
Step 4 Homework
Listen to the tape, then read the new words after tape, at least 5 times
Boarding:
Unit 5 This is my father
Part B Look and learn
A sofa            a table

A bed            a bookcase

Notes:
1.      The word bookcase is hard to pronounce, some Ss can’t pronounce it very well, some mix the word elephant and telephone.
2.      The game magic eyes is very popular. Most Ss like it. And more Ss get the chance to practice.
C   &   D
1.           Contents:
Part C        Part D
2. Demands:
1、Master all the new words in Unit 4
2、Be able to give orders of “get up” etc.
3、Sing the song “Goodbye”
Emphases:
1、Eight new words:
A sofa, a table, a chair, a fridge, a bed, a bookcase, a telephone, a desk
2、Verb phrases: get up, go to school, go home, go to bed
Difficulties:
1、Words
2、Verb phrases
Preparations:
1、Pictures of those six animals and six fruits
2、Tape
3. Pictures of the furniture
Teaching steps:
Step 1  To lead in
1、 Greeting
2、Free talk
A T:What’s your name?
S1:My name is xxx.
T: Nice to meet you.
S1: Nice to meet you, too.
B Practice between Ss
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1⑴Show the pictures of animals and fruits and Ss say out
⑵Look at the pictures in the book (p27) and describe the pictures using “This is a/an ....”(
Boarding)
2、Play a game. “Find a friend”
Hand out twelve pictures and ask Ss to say “This is a/an....”Then find their friends according to the pictures in book.
3⑴、Show the pictures of furniture ,and Ss say
Eg: a picture of a fridge
Ss: a fridge
Setp3 Consolidation
1.      Play a game magic bag.
Teacher puts the pictures of the furniture in one bag and ask Ss to choose one from the bag, others guess. If he or she is right, he/she will get a star.
2、Learn a song “Goodbye”
Step4 Homework
Listen and sing the song
Boarding:
              Unit 5 Goodbye
This is a cat.         This is a pear.
This is a dog.        This is an orange.
This is a monkey.     This is a peach.
This is a zebra.       This is a mango.
This is an apple.      This is a panda.
This is an elephant.    This is a banana.
