Day 8: China reaches 100-gold mark

Tang Gonghong's last-ditch heave of 182.5kg on Saturday won China's 18th gold medal in Athens and its 100th gold in summer and winter Olympic Games. In order to avoid complacency among the team, Chinese officials decided to put off the celebration until after the Athens Olympics.

第八天：中国得到了100枚金牌。

唐工红在星期六的最后一举185.5公斤，为中国夺得了18枚金牌，这也是中国在夏季和冬季奥运会上得到的第100枚金牌。

为了避免队员的自满情绪，中国官方决定把 庆典推迟到雅典奥运会闭幕后。
