<P>而<FONT size=4><EM>"the weather in New York"</EM></FONT>用"<STRONG><FONT size=4>it</FONT></STRONG>"来代指,而后面的"<EM><FONT size=4>the weather</FONT></EM>"也省略了</P>
<P>句子就变成<FONT color=blue size=4><STRONG>"It is hotter than in Nanjing."</STRONG></FONT></P>
