刚教到第八单元，教学中有了一些困惑，想与大家一起讨论啊１．Ｔhere's a football. There's a volleyball.
可不可以合并为There are a football and a volleyball.这里的第二个a 能省略吗？另外关于这里是is 还是are ,是不是有个就近原则的语法点啊，我有点遗忘了，请指教啊．

There's句型有一个就近原则，不管后面有多少东西，只要There's 后面跟的是a ... .be动词就用is，例如：
There's a bed, a desk and a computer in my bedroom.
