新课指导]Unit 1 This is me. (Period 1) Welcome to the unit
1、 先作自我介绍: I’m Mr. Chen/Mrs. Shen. Can you say sth about yourself?
What’s your names, please?
Do you like football?/tennis?/animals?/dogs?
2、 引入本文重点，
T: Do you have a dog?/ Is it like this?/ Do you give food to the dog?/
Tom has a dog. He gives food to it. He must look after it well. So Tom is the master of the dog.
T: Today we have two dogs. One is Eddie and the other is Hobbo. Hobbo is not a real dog. It’s an e-dog?
T: Do you think it needs food?/ Do you know how to look after the e-dog./ You must read a book.
You must read an instruction book
3、 学习漫画:
Read the dialogue on page 2. Then ask, What are they talking about?
Do they tell their names?
What’s the name of the master and what about the e-dog?
Look at Eddie in Picture 1. Is he happy? Why or why not?
What about Eddie in Picture 4. Is he happy or sad? Why or why not? Who will look after who?
Practise reading aloud. Get some students to act in front of the classmates.
4、 处理P3 Part A:
T: We are going to make new friends. Do you want to make new friends? What else do you say?
We are going to meet six new students. What are they talking about?
(Play the tape and answer the questions.)
Read more times if time permits.
5、 处理 P3 Part B:
Show some flash cards with different time
Model: 14:45 2:45pmtwo forty-fivea quarter to three
T: What time is it?Ss: It’s…
T: What does Millie say to each other?Ss: She says Good afternoon.
Repeat with other time and activities, then get the students to write down the answers on the books.
Check the answers; Practise reading aloud; Get the Ss to make up new dialogues
6、 Sum up what we’ve learnt today and assign homework:
Copy the new words and phrases in this period
