女儿三年级,最近做到一改错题:
this's my new coat.
找出错的地方.答案是:
this is my new coat.
this is 为什么不能连起来?请教老师们

错就错在“This's...”是由两个“s”相接，读时又读不出两个“s”的音，所以不能简略为This's

名词所有格也有这样的现象存在，如my brother--my brother's,而复数的格式则为my brothers--my brothers'

对的，不能够缩写的还有：there are, here are, where are 也没有缩写形式哦。不能缩写主要是读音发面没有办法读，这是我在出国时候特意问的。
