语法
★一般现在时
英语的动词作谓语时，它的形式会随着时态，人称和数等的变化而变化。这里我们讨论在一般现在时句子中，第三人称单数作主语时谓语动词的变化。首先我们必须搞清楚两个概念：一般现在时和第三人称单数。
一般现在时表示的是经常出现、重复发生的情况。最典型的表示一般现在时的词有always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, never, every day, every week等。
在一般现在时的句子中，当主语是第三人称单数时，谓语动词就要发生相应的变化，主语是其它人称时，谓语动词一律用原形。
1. 一般情况下，在原动词后面加-s构成。如：get→ gets等。
I get up at 6:00 every day. → He gets up at 6:00 every day.
2. 以o, sh , ch 结尾的动词，在词尾加es构成。如：do→ does,
go→ goes, wash→ washes, watch→ watches等。
I often watch TV in the evening. → My mum often watches TV in the evening.
3. 以辅音字母加y结尾的动词，将y改成i后再加-es。如： study→ studies等。
We study hard at school. → John studies hard at school.
注意：
在句中，如果使用了助动词does, doesn’t, will, won’t. can, can’t, would, wouldn’t, must, mustn’t等，尽管主语是第三人称单数，谓语动词也无需变化。如：
He doesn’t want to go shopping.
Can he move the stone(石头)?
Mike won’t come to school tomorrow(明天).

One day a city mouse met a country mouse in the field. The country mouse was eating nuts.
“Hello, friend! Why are you eating such bad food? Come with me and see. You can find the delicious food easily in the city.” the city mouse said.
“Is that so?” the country mouse was surprised and wanted to go with his friend. They walked and walked. At last they came to the city. There was a lot of food in the house. The country mouse was very glad.
