从5BU8中的句子教学思考开去
受到课时紧张和考试的影响,总觉得现在在培养孩子语言运用能力方面做的比较欠缺。5BU8的焦点语言结构是How do you spend your weekends?( How does he.....?),这个句型结构其实本质上是一般现在时的运用延伸,除了常规性的呈现和口头操练巩固,为了使其不枯燥我还是采用了周妹妹的胖男孩子的经典点子,使呈现方式更为生动,同时还激发了学生的语言思维。(见后)不过,我今天的想法不止于此,因为我发现最近的教学在运用上缺乏很多,学生的运用能力得不到锻炼,所以总觉得我们现在的教学上见不到一些精彩的对话,尤其是学生与学生的对话,这些精彩的对话其实也是学生能力的反应,我想这不能怪学生,可能主要由于和我们平时的课堂教学预设与整个课堂的语言活动基调有关系,当然也包括应试关系,平时我们比较满足学生一个简单的来回:S1: How does your mother spend her weekends? S2: She often goes shopping and does housework.似乎这样就可以了,偶尔我们会兴趣性的追问:Does your father do housework,too? 其实真正的教学目标,也即真正的语言运用应该是围绕这个意群用所学过的语言进行聚焦对话。例如:
S1: How does your father spend his weekends?
S2:He often surfs the Internet and reads books.
S1: Oh, my father often does housework. Does your father often do housework?
S2: Sometime he does, sometimes he doesn't.He can cook. But he can't cook well.
S1: Then your mother often does housework?
S2: Yes, sometimes I help my mother do housework at the weekends.
所以在这节课上,我有意花了很多时间做了这方面的指导和训练,然后自己组对编一个对话,以上这个对话我也放在课上让她们感知,并让她们课后背下这个对话(其实我们的教科书上应该多点这样的语料,A部分的平行性的内容编的并不怎么样),书上的C,D部分机械型的替换我安排他们作为课堂作业,回家要求她们自己编写一个质量高的类似的对话,不要太长,但是突出运用性的意群,这对他们一般现在时的理解和巩固也很有好处。
句型教学的最终一站其实就是此,不过在平时我们忽略的太多,太过赶进度,忽视了学生学习的过程,而且在考试上都是考些语言点,或者简单的句子书写,所以更加忽视,一旦碰到综合性的段落内容听力,有很多学生可能连着听那么多信息吃不消,也或者阅读文章的“相持”能力不够等,都是有原因的

S: He's very fat.
T: Yes, He's so fat. He's more than 75kg. Why is he so fat?
How does he spend his weekends? Perhaps at the weekends he...(三张提示图分别一一出现,提示)
S1: Perhaps he eats a lot of things(drinks a lot)
S2: Perhaps he sleeps a lot.
T: In your opinion! Does he often do sports?
S3: No, he doesn't.
T: Right. He doesn't do sports. At the weekends, he often does these things.
T: Now, he's really very fat.He has to go to see the doctor. Do you have any advice for him?
S1:He can do some sports.
T: Which sports?
S2:He can play basketball.
S3:He can't sleep a lot.
S4:He can ride bike to school.
T:Right!You are so clever. It's not wise of the boy to do these things at the weekends(回身手指课件图片),now boys and girls.
