Step1.Warm up
1)Greetings
T: Good morning   , boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning.
T: How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: Not bad, thanks. Sit down, please.
2)Free talk
T: Boys and girls,you’re students.I’m a teacher. I’m an English teacher. My name is.... My English name is.... I’m twenty-five years old.
Step2.Presentation&Practice
1)T: I’m twenty-five. Are you twenty-five?
S1:No, I’m not.
T: How old are you? (启发学生回答I’m ....)(学习How old are you?板书,领读,小组接龙读,师生间同桌间操练)
T: I’m an English teacher. Are you a teacher, too?
S1: No, I’m a student.
T: So, what’s your job?(启发学生回答I’m a student.)(学习What’s your job?板书,领读,小组接龙读,师生间同桌间操练)
2) T: Now boys and girls, here’s a new friend. (呈现“机器人”的图片) He’s a robot. What’s his name? How old is he? And what’s his job? Oh, his friend Liu Tao is talking with him. Let’s go and have a look.(播放课文光碟)
T:(after watching) OK, boys and girls. What’s his name?
S1:He’s Jack..
T: How old is he?
S2:He is one.
T: And what’s his job?
S3: He’s a waiter.( 学习a waiter领读,两人一起读)
T:Let’s watch again. And then you should judge these two sentences are true or false. OK?
Ss: OK. ( Ss read the sentences and then watch again)
Questions:1. Jack is a waiter.(   )
      2. Jack’s friends are waiters, too.(    )
T:Are you ready? Let’s check the answers.
Jack is a waiter.
S1:True
T: Jack’s friends are waiters, too.
S2:False.
T: So what are their jobs?( 学习What are their jobs?,板书,领读,小组接龙读)
