二、 重难点讲解
1．He has been interested in flying ever since he took his first flight at the age of six.
句中be interested in 指“对……感兴趣”；flying 是由动词fly+ing 构成名词，意为“飞行”；ever since 指“自从……时候起”；at the age of 表示“在……岁时”
2．In 1962, he was selected to become an astronaut.
选某人做……select sb. (to be) sb./ to do sth 显而易见，文中是用了一个被动态，将宾语him提前作主语he. 这样整个句子就成了被动语态了，并且要注意时态，另外astronaut，由于是元音音素开头，数时需用 “an”
3．Mission Control thought it was better to be safe than sorry.（课本80页有解释）
