2. Sing the song: The wheels on the bus
Step 2. Presentation.
T: I want to go to many beautiful places in my holiday. I like traveling. I also like reading. Do you like reading ?
Ss: Yes.
T: Let's go to the library.
Ss: Good.
(出示图片,领读单词library)
T: What can you see in the library ?
Ss: Many books.
Make a dialogue in pairs.
A: Hi, B. Let's go to Changzhou Library.
B: Good. How do we go there ?
A: Shall we go to the library by bus ?
B: Good.
用同法教其它新单词"theatre, hospital , station, airport"。
Step 3. New lesson
1、T: The traffic will be very busy in May Holiday. Let's go to the railway station to have a look.(让一位学生举着Changzhou Railway Station 的牌子,另外8个学生拿着画有火车和写着地名的纸站在后面) 教师介绍:Now I'm in Changzhou Railway Station. Look. This train is for Shanghai. This train is for Nanjing. 另外几位拿着火车的学生自己介绍: This train is for…
然后让他们交换位置,教师上前问:Excuse me, is this train for… ? 引导回答:Yes, it is./ No, it isn't. 再让学生上前提问。
出示新句型:
Is this plane/bus for… ?
Yes, it is./ No, it isn't.
2、 Practise:
D:Work in pairs
(强调公共场所前要加冠词the,在具体的地点名称前不要加冠词the)
Step 4. Consolidation.
请一名学生从教师课前准备好的盒子里摸取一张小纸片(上面写有各种不同的地名),根据纸上的地名邀请同学外出,并商量外出的交通方式, 编一段小对话。
可以写上这些地名:
For example,
A: Let's go to the airport
B: Great. How do we go there ?
A: Shall we go there by car ?
B: All right.
A: Is this car for the airport?
B: Yes, it is.
Step 5. Classwork:
1、Copy the new words .
2、Write the sentences in the copybook.
