教材分析：
本单元的核心教学内容是“询问别人的爱好”。要求学生围绕球类和乐器类的英语单词，在一定的情景下正确使用Do you play…? No, I don’t./ Yes, I do. What do you play ? I play….进行交谈。在学生们在日常生活中对球类并不陌生。为了使学生更好地掌握本单元的学习内容，教师在教学过程中要多考虑学生的年龄特点，充分利用多媒体课件，图片，幻灯，等手段，运用形象化的语言和动作，使教学内容更贴近学生的生活，激发学生的学习兴趣，提高学生参与语言活动的积极性。
教学目标：
1、能听、说、读、写球类单词：football、baseball、volleyball、basketball
2、能听懂、会说、会读句子：What do you play? I play….
教学重难点：

Step 1 Warming-up
1、Greetings
2、Sing a song: 《bingo》.

Step 2 Presentation
Lead in
T: What’s the time? It’s eight thirty. Time to have our class. Today we’ll go on learning Unit10 Do you play…?
Step 2 Revision and presentation
1、Review the words: a piano、a guitar、a violin、an accordion .
2、<1>T: What’ this in English?（课件呈现足球)
S1: Football (Teach the word “football”)
<2>Ask a student to act.
T: What is he doing ?
S1: Play football. (Teach “play football”)
<3>T: What’ this in English?（课件呈现排球)
S1: Volleyball (Teach the word “volleyball”)

Step 3 Teach the sentence

2、Make a dialogue with the picture of part C (4 pictures)
Step 4 Consolidation
T: The Olympic Game is comging now, and we need some Olympic volunteers. If you want to be the volunteer,make a dialoguewith your partner.
A: Hello/Hi.
B: Do you play …?
A: Yes, I do./No, I don’t.
B: What do you play?
A: I play …
B: Great/OK. Let’s go!

1、Copy the new words four times .
2、Look and write the sentences in Part C.
