【教学流程】Teaching procedures:
Step1. Warming up: Sing a song: The wheels on the bus.
Step2. Daily report.
Step3. Revision:
T: Where are you going, A ?
A: I’m going to Suzhou by train.
T: What about you, B?
B: I;m going to Guangzhou by plane.
Step4. Presentation.
T: The traffic will be very busy in holiday. Let’s go to the train station to have a look.
Call a student to hold a card of Suzhou Train Station and other 8students to hold other cards.
T: Now I’m in Suzhou Train Station. Look. This train is for Shanghai. This train is for Nanjing.
Encourage other students to say: This train is for…
T:Excuse me, is this train for… ?
S:Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.
Then let the students to ask and answer each other.
Use the same method to practice : Changzhou Airport, Suahou Bus Station,
This plane / bus is for…
Is this plane/bus for… ? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.
Step 5. Work in pairs(Page 48)
Step 6.Act
Make a dialogue in groups and act it out.
Step 7. Homework:
1. Oral work: Make a similar dialogue.
2. Written work: Write the dialogue.
