磁带、录音机、挂图、单词卡片、钟、自制大转盘、小黑板

Step 1. Greetings.

Step 2. Free talk.

2. T:First let’s play a guessing game.(出示图片,复习数字)

给猜对者进行奖励。

3. T:(出示一面钟)Look, I have a big clock..What time is it?
(师随意拨出几个时间:3:204:356:087:509:12…)

(学生通过对时间的回答进一步复习巩固所学时间的表达法)
4. T:(拨动指针,出示1:15)What time is it?(板书)
S:It’s one fifteen.
T:You’re right. You also can say it’s a quarter past one.
Teach: quarter (出示圆形,两次对折之后显示四分之一)
In an hour a quarter means fifteen minutes.Do you understand?
Ss:Yes.(Read the word after T some times)
T:past 超过 P-A-S-T,past.
Ss:(Spell and remember)

5. T:(拨到1:30)What time is it?
S:It’s one thirty.
T:Yes,it’s half past one.
Teach:half(再次出示圆形,对折显示一半)
In an hour half means thirty minutes.

同法教授:3:308:30 …(师拨时间,学生用half past…来回答)
6. T:(师拨1:053:105:29…引导学生用past来表达)
Ss: five past one, ten past three, twenty-nine past five…
T: (出示B部分挂图,请两组学生用句型对图中ten past one和twenty past one提问,并板书词组)
小结past的用法.(小黑板出示规律,然后口头训练几组用past来表达的时间)
7.T:(拨到12:45)What time is it? I’ll tell you. It’s a quarter to one.(解释to的含义)
Ss:(学生理解后,对挂图中twenty to one和ten to one 提问,相机板书词组)
请学生小结to的用法。(师出示小黑板进行补充说明,并口头训练几个用to来表达的时间)
8.学生听B部分录音,并模仿跟读两遍。
9.T:(出示C部分挂图)Please look at Picture 1.What time is it?
S: It’ s a quarter past nine.
T: Good. And we can see Miss Li and her students in the picture. What are they doing?
S: They’re having a class.
T: Yes. It’s time to have a class.(板书)I can use another sentence to exchange.It’s time for class. (板书) (比较讲解两者的用法,使学生能掌握It’s time for…句型)
10.学生操练其它三幅图。Practise in pairs. Then ask and answer two by two.
