一、Teaching aims and demands:
1. Four skill words::lesson, sing, song, dance, play.Three skill words: swim, skate, ski.
2. Four skill sentences::Can you…? Yes,I(we) can./No, I (we) can’t. What can you do? I can …OK. Let’s start.

Can you…? Yes, I(we) can. / No, I (we) can’t. What can you do? I can ….

五、Teaching procedures
Step1 Free talk and revision
1.Greetings.
2.Try to say something about your own bedroom. (show the picture)
Step2 Presentation
1.T: Boys and girls, listen to a song《You and me》, please.
S: Yes.
T showsa picture,ask : Do you know them?   (Yes)
T: It’s the song of the 29th Olympic Games. They are the famous singers of the world.They sing the song well.
T: Can you sing the song? (No)   What can you sing?
S1: “ABC song” , “ Two jackets”…
S2:I can sing “ We can sing and dance.”
T: Good. 出示单词: sing   (practise : sing ,sing ,I can sing.)
T:Can you sing “We can sing and dance”?
S:Yes, we can.
2. T:Can you sing?Can you dance? (教师以动作示意)
S:Yes.(doan action)
Teach : dance (Practise: dance ,dance ,I can dance.)
3. Guess: It lives in the water. It can swim. What is it?( fish)
T: Yes, fish can swim. It swims fast. Can you swim? (教师以动作示意)
S: Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
Practise with some Ss: Can you ……?Yes,I can /No,I can’t.)
4.Say a chant.
5.Show a picture ,ask: What are they doing? Elicit the word: skate
Teach : skate   ( skate ,skate ,I can skate.)
T: I can skate.What can you do?
S: I can ……
Practise the dialogues with some Ss. Use the same way to teach the other word : ski.
出示句型: What can you do?
         I can …
6.Show two pictures ,guess: What can he/she do?
S: He/she can ……
Show the phrases : play the violin 、play the guitar( read them)
T: I can play the violin. What can you do?
S1: I can play the piano. / I can play the guitar. What can you do?
S2: I can ……What can you do?
Do a chain drill.
Step3.Practice
1. Show the pictures, ask and answer in pairs:

2. Say a chant.
Step4 Presentation
1.Show the pictures,what can the boy do?
S: He can make a model plane.
Show the phrase,read it . Ask the Ss to make some similar phrases.

Step5 Look,read and learn
Show the pictures ,get the Ss to read the words.
Step6 Consolidation
1.Show a picture , get the Ss to practise:

2.Do a piece of paper, check the answer.
Step7. Homework

教学后记:
   注意play后跟乐器和球类运动的名称的不同,play+the+乐器,play+球类。Model拼写要注意,很多学生都拼写成modle,要特别注意。
