基础性目标 1、初步认识mine, yours, his, hers, ours等名词性物主代词及a wallet, a teapot, a skateboard, a calculator, a watch, a hairdryer等三会单词。
2、了解课文内容,理清谁收到了来自谁的礼物。
3、能朗读课文,并说出大意。
发展性目标 1、通过了解Jim一家圣诞节聊天的情况,能说说Jim家人收到了什么礼物,是谁送的。
2、创设有效情景,促使学生产生积极、主动、自主、持久的学习动力系统,培养学生的主动学习的能力。
3、课堂中注重学生阅读能力的培养,注意在教的同时,让学生自己“学”。

期间播放音乐Jingle bells,使圣诞氛围浓郁,课堂气氛轻松。
以英语课为本,由教师的生日日期过度到圣诞节,由此学习新单词Christmas,并揭示课题。

(一). Background.
1. Learn three new words.

(二). The first time of reading the text.

(三). The second time reading the text.

1. 听磁带朗读课文。

3. 说一说Jim一家人得到了什么礼物,礼物来自谁,并试着与你的伙伴一起复述课文。
由教师自己收到的圣诞礼物为开头,Guess为方法,学习三个较难读的单词。练习读词时,skateboard
和hairdryer采用两人对拼法,即skate-board
-skateboard.(hairdryer同上),calculator因为难读,所以采用指名读,多读来刺激学生的听觉和记忆。
课文引言部分,以两个问题一代而过,只需使学生明白说了什么。
课文全文比较长,阅读分为三个层次。
第一个层次为初读,放手让学生自读,培养自主阅读的习惯,并明了文章的谈论主旨----present。
第二个层次为泛读,以两人读的方式,体现合作学习的目标。在阅读过程中,寻找礼物,明确什么人得到了什么礼物。
教师在其中教两个生词wallet和teapot,并粗略代出名词性物主代词,明确其在文中的意思。并以Chant的形式,加深对名词性物主代词的了解,同时使课堂气氛热烈,学生情绪高涨,也寓教于乐。
第三个层次为细读,形式是跟电脑读,找出礼物分别来自谁,并连线配对。
课文的阅读完成后,用填空练习来加深对课文的理解,进一步明确语篇内容。
第一课时课文的学习,作为语篇教学,体现其整体性,以及学生对整个语篇的理解。
以说的方式提高要求,加深对课文内容的理解,培养口头表达和语言组织能力。
作业设计从基础到提高,在掌握单词和句型的基础上,口头表达和复述能力作为对六年级学生的提高要求。
