Listen to the instruction, quick respond. eg:
Stand up  sit down
hands up  hands down
turn around     shake your body
touch your face /mouth/eyes/nose/knees/toes
wash your face / brush your teeth
walk /  run /  swim /  fly
2 songs
Sing the songs we have learnt.

Step 2 presentation
The teacher: sing the song “a pencil”, Ss listen carefully.
Then ask: we have a new song for today, do you like it? OK, Let’s learn it together.
Step 3  Song “A pencil ”
Let the Ss open their books.
1)看歌词,指读.
2)有节奏地朗读歌词
A pencil a pencil a pencil  pencil box
A pencil a pencil oh in the pencil box
3)播放动画,听一遍,然后跟唱.
4)反复跟唱几遍,请先学会的同学演示,给予鼓励。
Step 4 presentation
Take out a pencil
Ask : what’s this? Ss: a pencil
T: Yes, this is a pencil.
Then ask individuals: what’s this? The student may just answer “a pencil”, guide him to ask completely, this is a pencil.
Ask more Ss :what’s this? Let them answer this is a pencil.
Step 5 presentation
Take out a pencil. Ask what’s this and let the Ss answer this is a pencil box.
Then practice this is a bag in the same way.
Then a book.
Step 6 part A
播放课文part A 的动画
T: look, Helen has a book in her hand,　 she can say this is a book.
Listen and repeat.
Step 7 drills
T: who wants to be Helen? (拿出头饰)
Ask some Ss to take a book to the front, and say this is a book.

  Divide the students to a group of four.
Ask each group to take out the four stationary. Each student  has one in his hand. Practice this is a …
