一、教学目标:
⒈To provide students with basic language to have something that they need or sb needs.
⒉ To learn the usage of “for”.
⒊To cultivate their interest of learning English and the consciousness of communicating in English.

Pictures, tape recorder, masks.
五、教学过程:
Step⒈ Revision
⒈ Review the new words and the spellings.
⒉ Ask some students to act out the dialogues.
Step⒉ Presentation
⒈ Show a card to the students. Ask What’s this in English? Tell them September 10 is Teachers’ Day. So when you meet your teachers on that day, you should say “Happy Teachers’ Day”.
If time is enough, tell them something about Children’s Day, New Year’s Day, Fathers’ Day, Mothers’ Day or Women’s Day.
⒉ When they give the things to the right person. Teach them to say “This…is for you.” Help the student to answer “Thank you.”
T: S2 can’t find his/her…May I have…for him/her.
S1: Sure. Here you are.
T: Thank you.
T: This…is for you.
S2: Thank you. (Explain the usage of “for”)
Make sentences with “for”
Eg. May I have a book for me/him/her?
This/that…is for me/you/him/her.

⒈ Listen to the tape and understand the meaning.
⒉ Let the students prepare the dialogue in groups.
⒊ Give us some performances. Find out the best one and give them
some prizes.
