课题        4A Unit 6 Whose gloves?

教 学 目 标        1.        Be able to understand the meaning and how to use the new sentences: Don’t worry. You can have this long one. Here’s a big one.
2.        Be able to read the words “like, lunch, mango, and milk” correctly. And try to find the rules of pronunciation.
3.        Be able to understand and recite the sentence of partF.
4.        Be able to act out the dialogue of part E.

Difficult points: Be able to act out the dialogue of part E.

教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
T: Look, whose pencil is it? Guess.
  S: Perhaps, it’s...’s.
  T: …,is this your pencil?
  S: No, it isn’t my pencil.
  Give the pencil to this student and ask him/her to find the owner.
  S: It’s my pencil.
  T: Look, this is my pencil. It’s too short. May I have a long one?
  S: Here is a long one for you.
  (Write “Here is a long one for you.” on the blackboard and ask Ss to read after me together.)
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Show a small rubber..
  T: Look at my rubber. It’s too small. I’d like a big one.
  S: Here’s a big one for you.
  T: Thank you. We can also say “You can have this big one.”
  (Write “You can have this big one.” on the blackboard and ask Ss to read after me together.)
2. Work in pairs.
  S1: My pencil is too short.
  S2: You can have this big one.
  S1: My rubber is too small.
  S2: Here’s a big one.

Step 3 While-reading
1.        Show the picture of part E.
T: Who are they?
S: They’re Helen and David.
T: Can you guess what they are talking about?
  Let’s listen to the tape.
2.        Read after the tape and underline the words that they don’t understand.
3.        Show the sentence “Don’t worry.” on the blackboard and ask Ss to read after me. Read it and ask Ss to guess the meaning.
4.        Read the dialogue with partners and try to act out the dialogue.
5.        Try to dub the cartoon of part E.
Step 4 Part F.
1.        Talk about the picture of part F.
T: What’s on the table?
S: Milk.  (Write it on the blackboard.)
T: What’s this? (Point to the mango in the picture.)
S: It’s a mango. (Write it on the blackboard.)
2.        Read the sentence of part F.
3.        Encourage Ss to explain its meaning.
4.        Try to find out the rules of these word in pronunciation.
5.        Try to recite the sentence.
Step 4 Homework.
1.        跟读15分钟。
2.        抄写E 1+1。
3.        抄写 F 1+1.
