一、教学内容:
6B. Unit 1 A部分:Listen, read and say.
二、教学目标:
1.整体感知理解语篇,理清人物关系和比较信息,能初步简单地组织语言表达。
2.掌握四会单词glad, taller, older, young, younger;掌握三会单词和词组go for a walk, as…as。
3.初步掌握理解句型Are you  as tall as your …?Su Yang’s twenty minutes younger than me. Who is younger, you or Su Yang? 并能在口头交际中初步运用比较级句型。
4.学会用整体粗读、部分细读的方法快速获取语篇信息,并能借助图片或关键词对语篇进行结构把握。
三、教学重、难点:
能在语篇中初步理解形容词比较级Are you  as tall as your ……Su Yang’s twenty minutes younger than me. Who is younger, you or Su Yang?并能在语言输出中初步运用比较级。
四、课前准备:
1.准备录音机和本课A部分的磁带。
2.准备A部分的图片。
3.多媒体课件
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead in
1. Greetings: Hello, boys and girls. I’m very glad to see you again in the new term. You look nicer than last year. And you are taller than last year. I’m sure you had a good time during the holiday. So let’s have a chat before the new lesson.
Learn: glad, have a chat
2. Chatting time.
(1) Talk about the Spring Festival.
        What did you do this Spring Festival? Did you meet your relatives/ cousins?
   By the way, do you have any cousins? Are you the only child of your parents?   
(2) Talk about the students’ cousins.
   师生谈话:Who’s he/ she? How old is he/ she? Who is older/ taller?
  Learn: taller, shorter, older, young, younger, than, as… as   etc.
   俩俩对话: Compare with your…
   过渡:We usually talk about this topic: Who is younger?
3. Show the title. Who is younger?
Step 2 While-reading
1. 学习背景部分。
(1) Show the picture, let the students ask some questions.
        Who are talking? Where?  When?
(2) Watch and answer.   板书: Su Hai  in the park   on Sunday morning
(3) Read and answer.  What did Su Hai do on Sunday morning?
        Who did she meet?   What did they do then?
        板书:Jack  Ben   have a chat
(4) Fill in the blanks.
2.整体感知理解对话。
(1) Watch and answer.  Who are they talking?
(2) 板书: Su Yang  Jimmy
过渡:They are talking about  “Who is younger?”.
3. 分段学习对话。
(1) Read and discuss.    Who is younger?
        学习A左,比较 Su Hai and Su Yang  
        Q:Is Su Hai as tall as Su Yang?  Who is younger?
        Learn: twin, look the same, as…as, twenty minutes younger
(2) 学习A右,比较Jack and Jimmy
        Q:Is Jack the only child of his family?  完成板书
4.整体强化,掌握语篇结构和信息。
(1) Listen and repeat.
(2) Read in roles.
(3) Retell the text.
Role1: If you were Jack, you’ll say sth. about the twins to your parent.
Role 2: If you were Su Hai, you’ll say sth. about Jack to Su Yang.
Step 3 Post-reading
1. Introduce one of your cousins.
2. Learn more: A year’s plan starts with spring.
  The dog is a member of the family in American countries.

3. Homework: 书上练习
        写一小短文,用比较级介绍自己的brother, sister, cousin或是pet。
