1.一般情况下直接在词尾加ing
2.以不发音的e结尾的动词，去e加ing

3.以一个元音字母和一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节词，双写词尾加ing
sit-sitting    get-getting    swim-swimming    run-running   shop-shopping   put-putting   jog-jogging

现在进行时表示正在发生的事情， 由主语+be动词(am, is, are)+动词ing构成

例如 I'm running. He is writing. She is walking  They are reading.  You are playing games.
问别人正在做什么，可以说：
What are you doing?  I'm.../We're....（动词ing）
What is he/she doing? He is.../She is........（动词ing）
What are they doing?They are....（动词ing）
What am I doing? Guess! You're....（动词ing）
四、打电话用语
