教材简析：
《Shapes》是牛津小学英语5A第九单元的授课内容。重点讲的是关于形状的单词和谈论物品形状的句型。本课时是这个单元的课文部分，以“辨认形状”为主题，利用What shape is …? It’s a …的句型展开的专项训练。
学情分析：
学生在实际生活中已经对形状有了清晰的认识，但是怎么用英语描述，正确发音和灵活运用缺乏明确的认识。通过本节课的学习，学生基本能掌握，并且气氛活跃，有自己独特的见解，表达能力较好。
