There was an old man. he loved wine and good food. He had a servant, James. James loved wine and good food, too.
The old man could never trust his servant. Each time he went outdoors, he had to hide his bottles. One day he had to go out and he said to James, “I shall be out. I want you to look after the house. There are two bottles in the cupboard, there was poison(杜耀) in them. If you drink it, you will die. There is also some meat in the fridge and a chicken in the yard.”
After the old man left, the servant began to drink the two bottles of wine. He also killed the chicken and ate up the meat in the fridge. Then the servant fell asleep. The old man returned and couldn’t find any wine, meat or chicken. He went and asked the servant.
The servant said tearfully, “Master, while you were away, a cat came in and stole the meat. Our neighbor’s dog ran after the chicken and killed it.
