T:(CAI four color pictures: green, red, yellow, white)  

point the first picture :  What colour?

S1: green.

T: Do you like green?

S1: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.

Use the same way to practice the other pictures.

Step 2:Presentation

(1)touch the first picture. (the cicada is crying)

T: What season? (T helps the student to understand it)

S:夏天。

（show the word “summer”）

Teach: summer.  Read and spell S-U-M-M-E-R

(2)T: touch the second picture. Show the snowman.

T:What season?

S:冬天。

T：It’s winter.

T: Yes, it’s winter.

（show the word “winter”）

T: It’s winter.         

Teach: winter. Read and spell W-I-N-T-E-R.

(3)Teacher the third picture.(the bird is singing.)

T: What season?

S:春天

（show the word “spring”）

T: It’s spring.         

Teach: spring. Read and spell S-P-R-I-N-G.

(4)Touch the forth picture. Show the maple leaf.

T: What season?

S:秋天。

T: Yes, it’s autumn.

（show the word “autunm”）

T: It’s autunm.      

Teach: autunm. Read and spell A-U-T-U-N-M.

Step 3: practice

1 practice the word

(1)Play a game: touch the landmine.

One word is the landmine. The students read after the teacher, they can’t read the landmine word. If someone read. The other ones can shout to him: one two three, bomb.

(2)read the four words freely, then read together.

2 practice the sentences.

Play a game

Every student write down the season which they like.  Then teacher ask one student :Do you like spring?

The S answer : Yes, I do. / No, I don’t..

If no ,ask again, if right show the paper.

Then work in groups.

3 Say a chant

Spring spring Do you like spring?

Yes, I do. Yes, I do. / N o, I don't. No, I don't.

(Ss change the word "spring" to "summer", "autumn","winter".)

Step 4 Homework:

1.       Read the words after the tape.

2.       Draw the part D.
