2.        What is the weather like?
3.        What do people wear?
4.        What are people doing?
5.        What are the rivers and lakes like?
Step 2:  Use some more pictures to learn some new words at the same time
     deep, land, exciting, throw, ice, everywhere, frozen, snowman. scream
Activity 2  Talk about winter
Step 1 Listen and answer some questions
1.        Which season does the writer like best?
2.        Why does the writer like winter?
3.        What is the weather like?
4.        Can you see beautiful flowers and green trees during this season?
5.        What else does the writer enjoy in winter? Why?
Step 2 Read the article after the tape and talk about some details.
