Unit 5
一、单元综述:
本单元要求掌握there be结构的一般疑问句及特殊疑问句的句式:Is there…?Are there…?How many…are there…?语法要求掌握名词的复数形式加“s”、“es”、“ies”,最后任务要求会用上述句型和复数形式来描述你的学校。
二、教学目标:
本单元目标分为六块:
1、Welcome to the unit:单词:football field, how many,
swimming pool

2、Listening:单词:office, toilet,playground, building, library
句型:Are there…?Yes, there are. No, there aren’t.

4、Reading:单词:hundred, beautiful, garden,floor,ground floor, first
floor, reading room
句型:There are some…
There aren’t any…,Are there any…?
5、Grammar:单词:any, of course, basketball count, tennis count
语法:能正确、熟练地掌握名词复数的规则变化方式。
6、Task:单词:study, draw.

I、准备:
事先准备三张图片:一张学校,一张游泳池,一张足球场。
II、复习:
复习上单元学过的内容,与学生进行对话(指着教室实物)
What’s in our classroom?
There’s a picture in it.
There are thirty desks and chairs in it.
There are six windows and two doors in it .
III、呈现:
1、练习Is this…?Yes, it is 句型,拿出图片或指实物:
A、老师与学生练习:
Is this your school,Peter?(指图片)
Yes, it is.
Is this your classroom?Yes,it is.(指实物)
B、学生与学生进行练习(全部指实物):
Is this your bag? Yes, it is.
Is this your book? Yes, it is.
Is this your pencil box?Yes, it is等等。
2、练习Is there…?Yes, there is .No, there isn’t.
A、老师拿出游泳池、足球场的图片,与学生进行练习:
Is there a swimming pool in your school?
No, there isn’t.
Is there a football field in your school?
在黑板上呈现swimming pool、football field两个词,教学生读会,然后叫学生起来朗读。
B、学生与学生进行练习,就图片和实物训练:
Is there a blackboard in our classroom?
Yes, there is.
Is there a teacher’s desk in our classroom?
Yes, there is.
Is there a swimming pool in our classroom?
No, there isn’t.
Is there a football field in our classroom?
No, there isn’t.
3、重点练习句型How many+名词复数in our school?

A、老师与学生练习:
Excuse me, how many books are there in your bag?
引导学生回答:There are twelve或twenty books。

B、学生与学生练习:

IV、听录音,回答问题:

一、复习
1、复习上一堂课学过的内容,就身边的教室、文具等与学生对话:

There are…in my classroom/bag/pencil box.
2、让学生进行Free talk.
二、呈现新课
1、教师准备四幅图片:building, office, toilet, library
2、介绍单词、学习单词:
教师指着图片说:
Look, this is a building.
Is it tall? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.
Are there any buildings in our school?
Yes,there are.
How many buildings are there in our school?
There are seven.
教师边说边将a building and buildings写在黑板上,领读新生词。
叫学生站起来朗读。
3、用同样的方式呈现office、toilet、library和playground,可以使用以下问句:

在黑板上呈现新生词:

用不同颜色的粉笔突出名词的单、复数。
4、就课本上第二部分内容五组对话在同桌之间展开对话:

二、呈现新课:
1、准备几幅图片:游泳池、足球场、教室、楼房、办公室、厕所、图书馆、操场、礼堂和美术教室等。
2、首先利用图片复习几个旧生词,学习几个新生词:
将图片贴在黑板上:让学生说出 a swimming pool 、a building 、a classroom 、 an office 、 a toilet 、 a playground 、 a library
3、出示一张礼堂的图片,问学生:
Is this a classroom ? No , it isn’t .
It is a hall .
Is there a hall in our school ? Yes , there is .
How many halls are there in our school ?
There is only one . (再次强调一下这句话。)
并把图片礼堂贴在黑板上,领学生读hall 这个单词。
4、与学生训练课文中对话,并指着图片:

There is only one .
5、安排学生朗读课文,分男女生角色朗读。

教师设计情景,与学生进行对话表演:

二、呈现课文:
1、准备两幅图片:a school , a building
2、教师指着图片说:This is my school .

教师将hundred 写在黑板上,教学生读会并简单讲解:
tow hundred students, one hundred girls , seven hundred trees .
教师接着说:There’s a beautiful garden in it .
教师将beautiful 和garden 写在黑板上,教学生读会。
3、教师指着 building 图片说 : Look at the building .
There are two floors . 将floor 写在黑板上教学生读。
教师接着教:on the ground floor , on the first floor ,
on the second floor , on the third floor .
教师接着说:There are some reading rooms in my school .
教单词some和 reading room , 写在黑板上领学生读,讲解some 的用法:some boys, some girls , some boxes , some men , some women , some libraries 等。
疑问句、否定句 some 改为 any .
4、将两幅图片贴在黑板上,听录音机上的课文,回答以下问题:

5、教师指着图片,让学生跟着教师复述课文内容:

让学生一句一句地复述,然后整段连起来复述,下一段也同样处理:
