二、教学目标：
1. 掌握单词Halloween, need, tomorrow, vase, mask, pumpkin, lantern, horse, change
2．能听懂、会读、会说日常交际用语：What (else) do we need? We need ….
三、教学重难点：
1. 单词Halloween和词组pumpkin lantern的发音。
2. 初步了解掌握句型：What do you like? I like …. Do you like …? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
3. 万圣节前夕的背景知识。
四、课前准备：
1．写好课题。
2．录音机和磁带。
3．本课时的课件。
4．若干动物面具。
五、教学过程：
Step1: Free talk
      Do you like dogs?
      What do you like ?
      What else do you like?
      Do you like horses?
     (Teach: a horse, horses)
     Look, there is a horse mask.(Teach : mask)
     I have some masks here, are they nice? Do you like them? If you need them, come here. Don’t forget to take some money with you .
Step2: Presentation:
T: Now we are doing shopping, Ben and his family are going to the shop , too. Because Halloween is coming. They want to buy things for a Halloween party.
Learn: Halloween , Halloween party
Step3: Learn to say

T: Look ,they are Ben and his family. Do you know the boy? ( Ron)
Today is October the thirtieth, tomorrow is Halloween. What do they need?
Ss listen and answer.
Step4: Practice
1.Ss listen and answer some questions.
2.Ss choose the right answers.
3.Ss fill in the blanks.
Step5: Consolidation
    Make up a dialogue about Children’s Day.
Step6: Homework:
1.Listen and read the dialogue three times.
   2.Make a dialogue about buying something for Teachers’ Day.
