    Halloween is on October 31st. People in the West celebrate it. People
celebrate it in many ways. Children wear masks at Halloween. Many Children play a game called “trick or treat”. They knock on their neighbour’s doors and shout “trick or treat”. Their neighbours usually give them a treat of some candy.

复活节（Easter）
    在欧美各国，复活节是仅次于圣诞节的重大节日。按圣经的说法，
耶稣基督在十字架上受刑死后三天复活，因此设立此节，节期大致在
三月二十二日至四月二十五日之间。
    做复活蛋是复活节期间最重要的，也是最有趣的习俗。每年复活
节前，英美国家的孩子们都会与家人一同制作复活蛋（用各种色彩涂
在蛋壳上）。在复活节当天，父母会把这些蛋藏在家中不同的角落让孩子去找。在复活节聚会中也会用复活蛋来做滚彩蛋游戏。鸡蛋是新生命的象征，也有人说鸡蛋象征多子多孙，后来人们又把他作为耶稣复活的标志。此外，野兔繁殖能力强，也被欧洲人广泛运用于复活节庆典。
