Unit 7 Where?
一. 教学内容:
1.词汇:a bedroom, a dining-room, a bathroom, a sitting-room。
2.日常交际用语: Where’s…? It’s /He’s/She’s…
二、教学目标:
1.能听懂、会说、会读单词a dining-room, a sitting-room, a bathroom, a bedroom以及短语in the dining-room, in the dining-room, in the sitting-room, in the bedroom.
2.能听懂、会说、会读、日常交际用语Where’s…? It’s /He’s/She’s…并能熟练运用日常交际用语进行回答。
三、教学重点、难点:
1. 能听懂、会说、会读单词、句型
2. 能在日常生活中准确运用所学单词、句型进行交际活动
四、课前准备:

2.板书准备:写好Unit 7  Where?
五、教学过程
Step1. Warming-up        
1. Greetings
2. Free talk
T: Who’s he /she?
T: Is he/she your friend?
T: What’s this in /on the pencil box?
T: What’s this in English?
Step2.  Presentation and practice
1. Learn “where”and “where’s”
T: Oh, what’s this in English?
S: It’s a cake.
T: What’s this in English?
S: It’s a fridge.
T: Where’s the cake?
S: It’s in the fridge. ( 提示学生用这句回答 )
Teach“where”and “where’s” ( where’s = where is)
蛋糕出现在冰箱里。
T: Where’s the cake ?
S: It’s in the fridge.
2. Teach“where’s the cake? It’s in the fridge.”
Chant:
Where? Where?
where’s the cake?
Fridge! Fridge!
It’s in the fridge.
3. Learn: “a dining-room”
蛋糕从冰箱里消失。
T: Where’s the cake? Let’s look for it.
蛋糕出现在餐厅的饭桌上。
T: Oh, here it is. Where’s the cake?
Ss: It’s on the table.
T: Yes, it’s on the table. It’s in the dining-room.
Teach: room, a dining-room, it’s in the dining-room.
T: Where’s the cake?
S: It’s in the dining-room.
T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a camera.
照相机消失。
T: Where’s the camera?
S: It’s on the sofa.
T: Yes, it’s on the sofa. It’s in the sitting-room.
Teach: a sitting-room, it’s in the sitting-room.
4. Learn: “Where’s Helen?” “She’s in …?”
T: Who’ she?
Ss: She’s Helen.
T: Where’s Helen?
T&Ss: She’s in the bathroom.
T: Where’s Helen?
Ss: She’s in the bathroom.
Teach: bathroom(bath), in the bathroom, she’s in the bathroom.
T: Where’s Helen?
S: She’s in the bathroom.
Chant:
Where? Where?
Where’s Helen?
Bathroom! Bathroom!
She’s in the bathroom.
5. Learn: “Where’s David? He’s in …?”
T: Who’s he?
Ss: He’s David.
T: Where’s David?
T&Ss: He’s in the bedroom.
Teach: bedroom, in the bedroom, he’s in the bedroom.
Chant:
Where? Where?
Where’s David?
Bedroom! Bedroom!
He’s in the bedroom.
6. Play a game: Magic eyes.
Step3. Summary
1这节课我们学了四个地点名词,是:dining-room, sitting-room, bedroom, bathroom
2当Where’s后面加人物名称或称呼时,只要直接加就可以了,例如:Where’s Helen? Where’s mum?当Where’s后面加物品时,需要在Where’s的后面加the,再加上有关物品单词,例如:Where’s the cake? He, she, it前面不加the。
3如果Where’s…?询问的对象是物品,我们就可以用it’s来回答,如果询问的对象是人,女的我们就可以用she’s来回答,男的,则用he’s来回答。

1. Copy the new words 4 times each.
2. Make dialogues with your classmates: Where’s…Where’s…? It’s /He’s/She’s…
