Teaching content:Unit4 Halloween(Part A)
Teaching aims:1 To make the students can understand、read、say and spell
the new words:family thing tomorrow change.

Teaching steps:
Step 1:Revision
a Guessing game(review the words)
Show parts of the pictures,let the students guess,read and spell.
b review the passage(PartE)
read the passage first,and then make the students do some translations.The teacher say Chinese ,and the students say English.
c Have a dictation
Step2:Presentation
     a dialogue 1
1.Introduce the background of the dialogue:Ben and his family are in the sitting-room.They would like to buy things for a Halloween party.
2.Teach the new words:family,thing,tomorrow.
Show the word cards(read after the teacher→spell→read together→read
by groups).To permeate the Phonetic teaching,and show the Phonetic
Symbol.
     3. Teach the new prase:buy things, buy…for…  would like.
4.Watch the dialogue with the queation:What do they need?
      Answers:They need some chocolate,some flowers,some masks,a pumpkin lantern and a vase.
5.Read the dialogue after the computer,and lead the students to do the translation together.
b dialogue 2
1.Show a picture,and ask all the students :Where are they?
Answer:They are in a shop.They would like to buy things for a Halloween party.
2.Enjoy the dialogue,and make the students pay attention to the language between the assistant and the customer.
3.Teach the prases and words:how much,change.
Show the word cards(read after the teacher→spell→read together→read
by groups).To permeate the Phonetic teaching,and show the Phonetic
Symbol.
      4.present the shopping language
         A:Can I help you?
         B:I need…

Step3:practice
a.        Work in pairs,play in roles.
Use the example to make a dialogue,ask 2-3 to perform.
b.        Listen dialogue 2 again,and read after the computer and translate it.

教学反思:
         在复习环节,我先让学生对单词与词组进行拼读,再进行默写,以便其能更好地掌握。对于这个基础比较薄弱的班级,首先是要学生掌握单词与词组,在这基础上,才能更好地掌握句型。在呈现方面,我是用了比较简单的背景介绍来导入,但如能用一些更贴近生活的情景来导入本单元的对话,学生可能会更感兴趣些,也可在黑板上贴些图片,使其更符合购物的情境。但在高年级英语的教学中,最核心的还是操练环节,尤其要注重笔头的运用。在这方面,我还是给个学生足够操练的时间,但学生所完成的题量很少,在巡视中我发现学生做题的速度有些慢,可能学生还没形成课上做题的习惯,之前我在此方面做的也不够,以后还是要加紧对学生课堂上的操练。但对于“would  like”和“like”的用法放到呈现部分教的话会更好些,以后须注意。在给学生做练习时,没把题目的答案显示出,这是我所忽略的。因为光光口头说,学生可能不太理解。这和学生在操练时光进行口头操练达不到产出效果的原理是一样的。对一些购物用语的呈现过于简单了些,虽然“What do you need?”前一课时里已呈现过,但从学生的反映中发现,他们掌握的还不是很好,在此节课中还应多加解释一下,因为学生们对之前的知识掌握的实在有限,此后课上要渗透的旧知识的教学,这就对有效课堂的要求更加迫切了。一节课,既要做到环环紧扣,更要求教师在设计教学过程时做到面面俱到,我要不断朝着这个方向迈进。
