Unit 2  Small animals

教学内容:学习有关动物的单词:bird, bee, rabbit, butterfly, frog. 以及一些关于这些动物的 song, chant 等。
教学目标:能听说有关动物的单词:bird, bee, rabbit, butterfly, frog. 以及唱一些有关这些动物的歌曲等。
教学重点、难点:一些单词的发音,如butterfly等。
课前准备: 课件,卡片,剪纸,录音机等。



一、        Warm-up/ Review
1.        Let’s chant: 1,2,3,4
Come in ,please and close the door.
5,6,7,8
Sorry, I’m late. Sorry, I’m late.
Shhh, shhh,quiet. Shhh, shhh,quiet.
Quiet, quiet,shhh,shhh.
Qui-et!
2.        Review the letters:
T: Good, now, let’s review the letters. I ask and you answer ,ok?
e.g.   ck, ck; qu, qu; ee, ee; ea, ea; oo, oo; tr, tr; ir, ir…
Great, look here, let’s spell some words:
Sack, black; quick, queen; bee, feet; team, bean; moon, soon; trip, tree…
二、        Presentation and practice
1.        Write the word’ bird’ on the Bb.
T: ir, ir, / /, / /, who can spell it?

T: Right? Yes, very good! Read after me.

T: bird, bird 是什么? Can you guess? (Do the action.)
S: bird, bird 是小鸟。
T: Good. Look at the screen. ( Read the word.)

T: Boys and girls, today we are going to learn some more animals.(今天我们要学一些动物。) Do you like the animals? ( Yes or no?)

2.        Shhh…listen, it is coming. “Weng, weng…” What is it?
S: 蜜蜂。
T: Right. Look at the picture. It’s a bee. Teach the word’bee’.
Ok. Listen to the tape carefully. Then tell me what kind of bees are in this song.
Let’s sing:    Busy  bees
Busy bees, busy bees. In the flower, in the tree. Buzzing here, buzzing there, buzzing everywhere. Making honey all day long, making happy buzzing song. Busy bees, busy bees. Busy bangbeng bees.
3.  Ask one student to look at the picture and act it.
T and other students: What color is it?
S:It’s white.
T: Ok, it is white.
T and other students: Can it fly?
S: No.
T and other students: Can it swim?
S: No.
T and other students :Can it jump?
S: Yes!
T: Ok, it can jump! What is it?
Teach the word ‘ rabbit’. ( Do the action: Jump, jump, rabbit.)
Let’s sing: Rabbit, rabbit, jump, jump,
         Jump, jump, jump, jump.
         Rabbit, rabbit, jump, jump,
        I like rabbit.
3.        T: I am a little rabbit, I am sad, sad, very sad. Why? I have no friends.(Flash: Don’t cry, little rabbit, I am coming, I am a butterfly.) Then teach the word. Read the word from low to high in groups.
4.        (出示青蛙的剪纸)T: Can you see what are they?

Teach the new word ‘frog’.
T: Do you remember the song of “ Six little baby ducks”(Review the song). Now, let’s change it. (Sing after me, please.)
