二、教学目标:
1、能听懂、会说表示起居室的单词:a dining-room, a bedroom, a study, a kitchen, a bathroom和a sitting-room以及短语:in the dining-room, in the bedroom, in the study, in the bathroom, in the sitting-room和in the kitchen.
2、能听懂、会说日常交际用语: Where’s my/ your……? It’s in/on…….并能熟练运用日常交际用语进行回答。
3、掌握介词in与on在意义和用法上的区别及习惯用法。

Step1 Warm-up
1. Greeting.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhou.
T: How are you today?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m fine, too.
2、Free talk
利用身边的文具询问
A. T: What’s this in English?
T: Is this your…(book, pen, pencil, pencil-box, rubber…)
S: Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.
【设计意图:由师生谈论身边物品,激发并营造浓浓的英语课堂氛围,层层铺垫,自然而贴切】
Step2 Presentation
(1) T: What’s this? (出示一个房子)
S:It’s a house.
T: Yes, this is Mike’s house. Look, who is coming? (出来人物Ben)
Today is Mike’s birthday. Mike’s going to have a birthday party at home.

T:What should he say?
课件出示文字 May I come in?
S: Come in, please.
T: Wow, Mike’s house is so big. How many rooms can you see?
Let’s count.
S: One, two, three…six
T: That’s right. We can see six rooms. (学习room)
T: What rooms are they? Let’s have a close look.
Look, this is a bed. What room is it?
S: bedroom (学习bedroom)
T: There are some sofas in it. You may sit on the sofa and watch TV.
What room is it?
S: sitting-room (sit sitting+room=sitting )
T: What can you see in this room?
S: I can see a table, some chairs…
T: Right. You can have lunch. What room is it?
S: dining-room
T:Can you read this word?

T: You can wash your face and brush your teeth in this room, what room is it?
S: bathroom

T: Look at this room. It’s very big .wow, there are many school things on the desk. What room is it?

【设计意图:通过创设Mike生日,好友到Mike家参加生日聚会,参观Mike的家这样一个情景,进而自然引入到对本课中六个房间类单词的学习和教授。在学习a dining-room, a bedroom, a study, a kitchen, a bathroom和a sitting-room时,我运用简单的单词发音规律和合成词的组词规律帮助学生更好的掌握所学词汇。】
(2) 回顾与巩固
T: Just now we visited six rooms in Mike’s house. What are they?
S:a dining-room, a bedroom, a study, a kitchen, a bathroom,a sitting-room(复习朗读单词)
T:Do you have a good memory? Let’s fill the blanks as quickly as you can.
补充单词练习
(3)Play a game
T: Where is Mike? Who can say the room’s name quickly.
最后定格在bathroom
课件出示:Where is Mike? He’s in the bathroom.
T: Where are Mike’s family members?

Listen! She’s in the kitchen.
T: Where’s your Dad?
He’s in the study.
T: Where’s your sister? Guess, my sister likes watching TV. Where’s she?

【设计意图:通过朋友们参观完Mike家房间后,顺利过渡到寻找小主人Mike,自然引出《Where’s Mike》这个游戏,在游戏中同学们不仅体验到乐趣,复习巩固了6个房间类词汇,还由单词顺利导入到了词组、句型的教学,正真做到了让学生在学中玩,在玩中学。】
