Good morning, ladies and Gentlemen. My name is。。。. It’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. The content of my lesson is《Oxford primary English》Book3B Unit 9 Shopping Part A(the first period).I’ll talk about this lesson through this three parts. First, let me talk about the teaching material.
Part 1 Teaching Material:
This lesson is about a shopping topic. By study of this unit, the Ss know how to ask the price in English and how to describe the color and price with simple words and sentences. The sentence patterns of this lesson, Can I help you? How much is it?” and…yuan, please are the key and difficult points of this unit. The study of this lesson will help the Ss with daily communication.
1 Teaching objectives:
On studying the teaching material and analyzing the regulation of children’s growing of mind, I put forward the teaching objectives according to English syllabus and new lesson standard.
Perception objective:
1) The Ss can listen, read, and use the new words a vest, a cap and a hat.
2) The Ss can listen, read, and use the main sentence patterns “Can I help you?” ”What color” ”How much is it” ”…yuan, please”
3) The Ss can communication with others in English.
Ability objective:
1) The Ss can use the sentence pattern of inquiring the price, and further develop their language ability of “shopping”;
2) The Ss can use the patterns to express their thoughts in the proper scene.
Emotion objective:
By completing the task, the students can increase their interest and set up self-confidence in language study, teach the students to value the time, put the moral education in the language study.

Part 2 Teaching Methods and Studying Methods:
Situational Method and direct method. It establish a real and authentic situation with new language items, and students can learning grammar rules from easy to difficult. In the lead-in and presentation of this lesson, I’ll create the real situational to students, so that students into the role, into the classroom, so as to enhance the learning efficiency. Let Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. Ss understand the new knowledge in certain degree through the mental process of seeing, hearing, saying, observing, imagining, thinking etc
Part 3 Teaching Process:
1. Warming up:
Sing a song: Twenty green bottle. It’ll create a good atmosphere in the English language through the songs, so that bring the students naturally into a good state of learning. Sing and gesture effectively help students review 1 to 20, and make the preparation for the next lesson.
2. Lead- in:
Free talk between teachers and students will lead the Ss into a situation about shopping, And arouse the Ss' performance desire, participation desire, and lead the Ss into a thick English studying atmosphere.
3 Presentation and practice
1) Learn the new words, a hat, a vest and a cap.
First of all, show the picture about clothes, I would ask “What can you see in the picture?” Ss can answer” A skirt” “A shirt” etc. Then show a picture of a red vest, this time the Ss’ turn to ask and I answer “It’s a vest.” Teach vest, then ask “?” Ss answer.
Secondly, I’ll show a white hat and ask “What color is it”, after Ss answer, I’ll repeat again and say “It’s a white hat” Teach hat.
Finally, I would show the real cap, ask” Is it a hat? And why?” Then tell Ss the result and reason, comparing cap with hat.
2) Teach the sentence
First, let the Ss guess the price of the cap,“ Boys and girls, can you guess, how much is it?10 yuan or 20 yuan.” After they answer, I’ll ask “How much is it?” without 10 yuan or 20 yuan. Teach the sentences “How much…” “…yuan, please” then practice the sentences with the things they own by pairs.
Second, show a picture of a shop assistant; introduce it to the class, ask “How does he greeting the guests?” then play the record,
Last, teach the sentence “Can I help you?”
4 Consolidations
Show the text; invite a student to read the text with me. Then divide the class into 4 groups, let Ss play the guest and shop assistant, buy the fruit, the clothes, the food and the stationery, make the dialogue with the sentences of the text.
5 Summarization
Summarize the whole lesson
6 Homework
1) Copy the new words 3 times English and one Chinese
2) Listen to the tape, and read the text three times.
