Step one: Greeting:
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Miss Yang.
T: How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you. How are you?
T: Very well, thanks.
Step two: Presentation:
(1) T: Now, boys and girls. Let’s go and meet some new friends!
T:Look, children. Who are they?
T shows four baskets of four animals(“cow, dog, duck, cat, pig.”)
Ss:Cat , dog
T: Very good! We can see cat, dog and other animals. (T says and points)
Now, let’s go and meet them one by one.
(2) What’s this?
T: Woof! Woof! (T shows a toy dog )
Ss: Dog! Dog!
T: Yes. This is a dog.
T shows the picture and read.
T: Dog, dog
Ss: Dog ,dog
T: This is a dog.
Is this a dog?
Ss: Yes.
T: Good. Act like a dog.
Ss follow the teacher.
(3)Teach the words: cat, cow, pig ,
(4)Play a guessing game.
T: Show Ss the cards of cow, dog, cat,
Ss: Read them once first, then T hold them back.
T takes one of them in the right hand and let Ss guess what it is.
(Devide the groups: Zoom and Zip group, who wins that got a star. )
(5)When they play the game, T shows the new word cards: duck.
T reads use the quick or slow voice。
T: Duck Duck
Ss: Duck Duck
Let the Ss read in many ways, such as “a little train.”
T: Wonderful. Now, let’s act like a duck.
Let the Ss act as a duck.
T asks several Ss to the front and act .
T: Duck likes swimming (do action) in the ……
Ss: 水
T: Great! They like swimming in the water.
(T shows a picture that a duck is swimming in the water.)
(6) Act and guess.
T: Call S1 to the front and tell him/her a word.
(Suck as dog/duck) Let him/her act like this animal, others guess what the animal is.
(7)T says to a student the last words:pig. T teaches the new words:pig
T: Act like a pig.
Ss: Do together.
(8) Listen to the tape and repeat.
Step three: Practice
1. Listen and show the cards of words.
2. T: Say and Ss show the toys of animals.
3. T throw the toys to Ss one by one, the student who catching the toy should stand up and say the word with acting.
Step four: Homework

Step one: Warm up
1.Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Miss Yang.
T: How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you. How are you?
T: Very well, thanks.
2.Sing a song
3.Read the words one by one.
4.Each group intitules a name of animal themselves.
( 热身环节让学生复习学过的单词,为本课学习打下基础。同时,发挥学生的主动性,让他们为自己组取一个动物名字进行小组竞赛。有趣的同时,从一开始就培养他们的合作精神。并由此开始了一个过程性评价。)
Step two: Revision
1.Ask and answer.
T: Do you like animals? What is this?
Ss: It’s a dog.
T: Now we are on a farm. The class is a farm.
Ss: Ok.
T: Let’s listen to the tape.
T: Now read after teacher: What’s this?
(学生跟读句型,师相机纠正学生读音。)
Ss: Read one by one.
T: What’s this? (师出示动物图片,提问。)
Ss: It’s a cow/dog/pig/cat/duck.
2.A riddle:
It’s an animal.
It’s big.
It has a big nose and big ears.
It has small eyes.
What is it?
3.Draw a pig on the blackboard.
(通过问答,复习所学的动物名词。)
Step three: Presentation
1.T: Today we’ll have a competition: who’ll be the best of animals? The commentator should describe the animals.
(提出任务,有利于培养学生的语言交际能力,同时让学生有目的、有针对性地学习。)
2. T: Look at the cow! Big or small?
Ss: It’s big.
T: Look, what’s this?
S: It’s a duck.
T: What’s this?
S: It’s a dog.
T shows the word cards and let the Ss ask and answer.

2.Read them for several times together , then race in groups
Step four : Game
1. If T’s voice high , S’s voice should low ,if T’s voice low, S’s voice should high
2. Do game
Play a game. Who is the quickest to respond?
3. Ask students to act as animals we learned.
T: (Say the commands and do the actions to elicit the new sentence.)Have the class listen and follow the teacher.
4. Stand up and do action

Step five: Teach a rhyme

1.Ask students to listen to the teacher’s commands and do the actions.
2.Who is the best little teacher?
Ask some more able students to order the commands. The others try to follow and act.
