Step one: Free talk and revision
1.Use the daily English to greet with the Ss
Good morning, boys and girls.
Good morning, Miss Yang.
2.Say a rhyme.
3.Show a picture:
T:What`s this?
S:It`s a carrot.
4.Show a picture:
T:What are these?
S:They are carrots.
Look at the pictures and let the Ss talk about the pictures.
5.Say the chant:
a carrot,a carrot,It`s a carrot.
Carrots,carrots ,they are carrots.
Step two: Look and learn
1、Show the wall-picture:
T:Look,what`s that?
Ss: It`s a butterfly.
Read the word in many ways.
Draw one, two, three butterflies.
T:One,two,three,they are butterflies.
T points to the wall-picture and ask:
T:What are those?
Ss: They are butterflies.
2、teach the other words like the “butterfly”
3、Play a game:
“what`s missing?” practice the words.
4、Use the cards and make the excises:
Listen and number
5、Read the words
Step three: Say a rhyme
1.Let the Ss listen to the tape, and read the rhyme in many ways.
2.Learn the words: birds,singing
3.Listen to the tape and understand the meaning of this rhyme.
Step four: Practice
Excise book:
1、Let the Ss look at the pictures, and talk about them.
2、Let the Ss listen to the tape and then do it.
Step five: Assign homework
(1)Listen to the tape.
(2)Read the words.
