4A Unit6 Whose gloves 说课稿
Today I’m very glad to have an opportunity to say something about Unit6, part B in Book 4 of Oxford Primary English. This part places an important role in the unit. This is the basics of the units. Only the students learn the part well, can they use them to make dialogue correctly in their daily life. The content of this period is to master the following words and phrases: a pair of gloves, a pair of jeans etc. According to the contents and the ability of students, I establish the following teaching aims:
1. The students can listen, read , say and write the following words and phrases: a pair of gloves, a pair of jeans etc.
2. The students are able to use the words according to teacher’s instruction to make sentences correctly.
3. The students can find the convenient way to remember the word under the help of teacher.
I think the most important point of this period is to understand the meaning of these…
And the most difficult point is to distinguish the singular form and plural form of these words.
I’ll use some pictures, words and phrases cards, a tape recorder and CAI to help me achieve the aims. In this period, the task-based method, communicate method, cooperate method and TPR will be used.
I designed the following steps to train their listening, reading and speaking. All the steps are warm-up, revision, lead-in and presentation, consolidation and homework.
Step1: warm up and revision
First, sing a song or say a rhyme. It can attract students’ attention and construct and atmosphere of learning English.
Use what they have learned to greet with them. This can help the students to review the knowledge. Revision is very important because students are too young to remember what they have learned for a long time. So we should repeat the contact many times to help them recall and consolidate the knowledge.
Step2: lead-in and presentation
As the students have learned “What’s this” and “What are thy?”, I’ll begin with the question and get the answer “They are…” or “It’s a pair of jeans.”
1. Real objects, pictures and dialogues between teacher and students can lead in the new words. This may help to attract their attention and interest, arouse their motivation to talk with teacher.
2. I’ll use the real objects to help students combine the object and words correctly.
It will make them interest and help them remember them deeply.
3.Consolidate the words by imitating teacher’s actions. For example, when teacher say loudly, student should speak louder, too. If teacher becomes to speak quiet, the students should follow, too. This can help attract their attention and interest.
4. Use guessing game.
5. Ask and answer to present the sentence patterns.
Step3: practice
I’d like to divide the students into group of 4. they work at the same time suing the sentences. Use group work can give students more opportunities to speak English. It encourages students to share ideas, cultivate their creation and help others.
Step4: consolidation
Present the dialogue by using CAI which shows students how it takes places in real situation.
CAI can provide a real situation for the students to understand the dialogue better and the relationship between people.
Play a tape recorder. Students read the dialogue after recording. Students can imitate the pronunciation and intonation. I think it’s important for students to form better English surrounding by imitating. At the same time let the students to have a chance to practice their listening and spoken ability.
That’s all for my introduction of unit 6. Thank you for your attention. |
