四、教学过程:
Step1: Greeting
T: Hello, boys and girls. How about today? I feel cold. (动作) xxx, please close the door.
S1: (close the door)
T: I still feel cold . Oh, please close the windows.
Thank you, I don’t feel cold now.
T: Look, this is Jim. How does Jim feel now?(手摸肚子) I think he feels hungry. He wants to have some hamburger. (第二张图片) she feels thirsty. I think she wants to drink some water.
(第三张图片)引导学生说:He feels ill.
Step2: Presentation
T: (出示Helen生病图片) Who’s she?
S1: She’s Helen.
T: How about Helen?
S2: She feels ill.
T: Yes, she feels ill. And what day is it today?
S3: It’s Wednesday.
T: The students are at school now. But Helen is not at school. She is ill. She is in bed now. Let’s care Helen. What’s wrong with her? Why is she in bed?
T: Look, this is a telephone. Let me call her.
(电话铃响)
T: Hello.
H: (Helen录音) Hello.
T: May I speak to Helen.
H: This is Helen speaking.
T: Hi, Helen. This is Mr Wang. Why are you absent today?
H: I’m ill. I’m staying in bed.
(教学新单词:absent (缺课,缺席) stay in bed (躺在床上) )
T: Now, Helen is ill. She is staying in bed. What’s wrong with Helen. Let’s ask her.
T: What’s wrong with you?
H: I’ve got a headache and a bad cough.
T: Boys and girls, headache, bad cough (动作) you know. (教师做动作,并领读2遍)
Now, let’s say and do: headache, headache, I’ve got a headache.
bad cough, bad cough, I’ve got a bad cough.
(学生边做动作边跟说句子)
T: Oh, we know, Helen has got a headache and a bad cough.
T: I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you get better soon.
呈现单词: hear, hope, get better (读两遍单词和句子)
Stp3: Read and act
T: Boys and girls. Let’s ask Helen together.
(学生扮演A和Helen对话)
Step4 Presentation
T: Helen has got a headache and a bad cough. But now it’s four o’clock in the afternoon , how about Helen?
Let’s ask Helen again.
T: Hello, Helen. How do you feel now?
H: I still feel ill.
T: (教学:still)
T: Are you taking any medicine?
H: Yes, a lot.
T: Boys and girls, (拿卡片)take some medicine吃药. What’s medicine? (拿实物) Look, some medicine. Take some medicine(做动作)
If you are ill. You should take some medicine.
Ss: (跟读两遍,做动作)
T: Classes are over. I can get some fruit for you.
H: Thank you.
T: See you soon.
T: Helen is ill. I can get some fruit for Helen. (出示:get … for …)
Step5: Watch and judge
T: Ok, Helen is ill. Su Yang calls her too. Let’s watch a cartoon and do some exercise.
