Step One: Warm-up
1. Free talk
T: What can you see in the picture?
Ss: I can see…
T: We can see many animals. Do you like animals?
Ss: Yes, I do.
T: What animals do you like?
Ss: I like… (注意名词用复数形式)
2. Sing a song 《Animals on the bus》
Cows on the bus sing. Moo! Moo! Moo! Horses on the bus sing. Neigh! Neigh! Neigh!
Pigs on the bus sing. Oink! Oink! Oink! Lambs on the bus sing. Maa! Maa! Maa!
Hens on the bus sing. Cluck! Cluck! Cluck! Ducks on the bus sing. Quack! Quack! Quack!

T: Today there is an animals’ talent show at the zoo. (接下来新授的环节都是围绕这个talent show 展开的,所以这个就是贯穿本课时的一条主线,一个情境)
T: Look! Who is coming.
Ss: Monkey.
T: Monkey was the winner of thelast time. He is 9. He likes sports very much. But what does the monkey like? Let's try to ask. (show three question marks 充分调动学生的好奇心,猜猜猴子到底有哪三个爱好)
引导学生用句型What do you like?来问猴子,与此类似的一个句型What do you play?在前一单元刚刚学习,所以再来学说这个新句型并不难。
Ss: What do you like?
通过猴子的回答学习以下三个重点单词。

T: 看了monkey的才艺秀,接下来有5个小动物分别登场表演,开动小脑筋,睁大小眼睛
