Require the correct pronunciation and intonation naturally.
2. Be able to understand, say the following eight fruit words:apples, oranges, pears, bananas, peaches, mangoes, pineapples, watermelons.
Require the correct pronunciation and intonation.
3. Be able to listen, say, read, and write the following phrases: a banana, a pear, a peach, an apple.
4.Be able to say the fruit rhyme “They are all very good”!
5. Be able to understand the Pronunciation of noun plural.

Teaching procedure:
Step1 Warm up:
1. Greeting:
Listen and sing a song 《family song》。
2. Free talk.围绕两人初次见面的所需问候语。
3. Guess: What’s in my basket bag?(猜水果篮里有什么?)利用感官。
4. Listen and imitate.听音模仿练习。(复习巩固A部分会话)

Step2 Presentation
1.        Play a game
I can see a…/some…
S1: I can see a banana.
S2: I can see some peaches.
S3: I can see some mangoes.
S4: I can see some oranges.
T: Very good. Read after me: oranges.
Ss: oranges.
Read one by one, in pairs, in groups.
(The same way to teach pineapples, watermelons)
2. Read and spell the eight fruit word.
3.T: I can see some fruit, some big fruit and some small fruit.(Teach fruit),read after me.
Ss: fruit
Point to a watermelon, and say this is a big fruit, big fruit.(配合手势大,小。)
Ss: big fruit
T: small fruit
Ss: small fruit
T: Big fruit and small fruit, they are all very good!
Ss: Big fruit and small fruit, they are all very good!
4.Show the pictures of pears, bananas, pineapples.
Let students read these words.
Ss: pears, bananas, pineapples
Show the pictures of oranges, peaches, apples.
Let students read these words.
Ss: oranges, peaches, apples.
T: oranges, peaches, and apples.
Ss: oranges, peaches, and apples.
T: Big fruit and small fruit, they are all very good!
Ss: Big fruit and small fruit, they are all very good!
5. Listen to the tape and repeat the rhyme.

Step3 Consolidation
1.Listen to the tape and repeat (PartA, PartB)
2. The Ss practice by using “Good morning /afternoon …Nice to meet you,… Nice to meet you,too.”
2. Show the pictures of Part D(Listen and judge).(Mr Black, Mrs Black, Mr Green ,Miss Li, Mike, David,Yang Ling, Nancy, Gao Shan, WangBing).Please say:“Good morning/afternoon to them.”
3. Do listen and judge.

Step4 Homework:
1.        Read the eight words for 15 minutes.
2.        Read after the tape for 10 minutes.
3.        Try to recite the rhyme “They are all very good”!
