6B Unit3 Asking the way (part A)

ⅠTeaching contents: PA
ⅡTeaching aims:
    1)知识目标:
a)通过学习使学生能正确地听、说、读、写词汇和句型:turn left /right ,stop ,post office ,get on /off ; Can you tell me the way to …., please ?
b) 通过学习使学生能正确地听、说、读词汇History Museum, along, street, crossing, away.
(2)能力目标:使学生能运用对话中的日常用语:Go along this street and then turn left /right at the third crossing . How far is it from here ? It’s about a kilometer away . You can take bus No. 5 . How many stops are there ?进行对话交际。
(3)情感目标:鼓励学生积极参与,通过多种形式的活动来激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生从小养成乐于助人的良好习惯。
ⅢTeaching key and difficule points:
   1、 能听懂、会说 、会读单词:way, get, along, street, take,  road.
2、日常交际用语的初步运用。
         Go along this street, and then turn right at the third crossing.
How far is it from here?        It’s about a kilometer away.
3、 能听懂、会说、会读句型:Can you tell me the way to …, please?
4、 课文的朗读与理解。

Step1 Warm up
Free talk:
What day is it today? What do you usually go to school?
How do you go to school? When was The Olympic Game last year?
Wher was The Olympic Game?
Step2 presentation:
1. T: Here’s a map of Olympic Game Flame route in YangZhou.
T: How far is it from starting point to the end?引出:11 kilometres
T: To get the end faster we can take a bus. How many bus stops are there?
引出: stop
2. Shou a form:
       what           The Olympic Flame
     From…to…        Starting~the end
How far           11kilometres
    How to get there           Take bus No. 8
    How many stops           Five
3.T: When we want to ask the way, we also can say:
PPT呈现:Can you tell me the way to…?
         请问能告诉我去……的路怎么走吗?
  举例子:去公园和动物园该怎么问?
3.T: When people asking the way , how can we tell them?
PPT: (1)如果问的路线比较简单:Go along this street and the park is on your right.
(2)如果路上有十字路口:Go along this street and then turn right at the second crossing. The park is on your left.
(3)路线比较远: You can take a taxi/bus.
               You can take bus No.8
4. Learn the text
(1).Teacher: Today we’ll meet a new friend, He is asking the way now.
阅读引言部分请学生回答:
Q1: Where does Mr Smith come from?
Q2: What does he want to do?   Then check the answer.  Read after the tape.
(2). How does Mr Smith ask the way to the History Museum. Now let’s watch the cartoon.
让学生说说Mr Smith是怎么问路的。
S:Excuse me, Can you tell me ….,please.
   How far is it from here?
   How many stops are there?
   Where is the bus stop?
(3) T: How does YangLing answer him?(在本子上写一写)
依次回答每道题:
Let me see, Er go along this…  You can’t miss it.
It’s about a kilometre away.

It’s over there.There’s a bus every five minutes.
听课文跟读   同桌位分角色朗读
(4)T: What else does Mr Smith want to go? Let’s go on watching and answer the questions below:
Where else does Mr Smith want to go?
Where is it?
How can he get there?  
Check the answer.
跟读后半部分   分角色表演后半部分对话。
