(Story time)
Period 1
教学目标:
知识与技能
1. 能在整体情境中理解storytime的内容,养成预测文本、处理信息等能力。
2. 能听懂、会说、会读单词,词组或句型:at a time, healthy, diet, cola, a little, a few. He has alot of/some noodles/meat. She has a few eggs/a little rice.
3. 能正确地运用have和has。
过程与方法
1. 能正确朗读课文,能用所学句型、交际用语等讲述自己的饮食习惯。
2. 能主动参与课堂活动,与他人合作。
情感态度与价值观
1.      能初步了解关于健康饮食的文化与知识。
2.      通过学习养成良好的生活习惯。
教学重点:
1. 课文整体内容感知。
2. 能听懂、会说、会读单词,词组或句型:at a time, healthy, diet, cola, a little, a few. He has alot of/some noodles/meat. She has a few eggs/a little rice.

Step 1 Warm up
1. Greetings.
2. Free talk:
T asks the Ss: Were you happy at Spring Festival? I washappy at Spring Festival. I had a long holiday and visited some interesting placeswith my family. But now I’m not happy. I ate too much food and got up late atthis Spring Festival. And I didn’t do any exercise. So, I’m fatter than before.It’s a bad news.(设计意图:运用自己的饮食习惯引出本课的大标题,并让学生感知老师的饮食习惯是否健康,由此导入新课,这既增进了师生的了解也引出了本文的教学要点,目标突出。)
Way:a, Show the T’s diet anddescribe it.  
b, What do you think of mydiet? Healthy or unhealthy?
Teach: diet, afew, a little, healthy, unhealthy.
Step 2Presentation
Watch the cartoon(设计意图:在进行语篇教学中,首先就是要求学生整体感知课文,让学生了解文章的大意。然后再进行分层教学,最后总结归纳。)
1.      Lookat Mike and YangLing’s diets.
Q:What food do they like?  
      What kind of sweet food doesMike eat?   
      How much sweet food doesYangLing eat?  
Way: Watch the cartoon and answer
2.      Whatfood do they eat for three meals?
Way:Read the text quickly and answer
3. Talkabout Mike’s diet.
Q:How much bread and milk does Mike eat for breakfast?
     How much meat and fish doesMike eat for breakfast?
     How much rice does Mike eatfor breakfast?
Way:read and under the key words.
4. T:What do you think of Mike’s diet?   
      What is a healthy diet?
T:In fact, it’s according to a special form--Healthy Food Pyramid
Way: show the Say something aboutthe Healthy Food Pyramid. (设计意图:呈现健康饮食金字塔就是让学生把所学内容运用到实际生活当中,让他们知道如何健康饮食,同时也巩固了一些量词的用法。)
Whatshape is it? How many floors are these?
Tokeep healthy, we should have a lot of rice, noodles, bread, fruit andvegetables. Because they are a good source of carbohydrates and vitamins. Theykeep us healthy.
Weshould eat some meat, fish,eggs, and milk. They can make us strong. At last, wejust have a little sweet food. Because they provide calories, and they can makeus fatter and fatter.
5. GiveMike some advice.
Tips:Hey, you should/can...    Pleaseeat...   ...can make us.... Don’t...
6. Talkabout YangLing’s diet. Does she have a good healthy diet? Why?
Way:read and underline.
7. Listenand repeat.
Tips:跟录音朗读,注意语音清楚,语调自然。
8. Readfreely.
a, read in parts.  b, read together.  c, read after one(设计意图:在英语阅读过程中选择自己喜欢的阅读方法,也能让学生提高学习的兴趣,利于学生对文章的理解和掌握。)
9. Retellthe text.
a,look at the blackboard and retell the text.   b, finish the passage
Step 3Consolidation
1. Say something about yourdiet.
2. If you have an unhealthydiet, what are you going to do?
Tips: I’m going to...    I should(not)...   I can(not)...
3. Junk food.
To keep healthy, we should have healthy food, but no junkfood.(设计意图:情感教学已经是课堂教学中必不可少的一部分。)
Step 4 Summary
Remember:   Eat more healthy food.     Do more exercise.
             Have a healthy lifestyle.    Healthyis wealthy.
Step 5Homework
1. Read the text freely.
2. Try to tell something about Mike and YangLing’s diets.
3. Say something about your diet.

教后反思:
   本课的内容与我们的实际生活紧密相关,饮食在生活中是常聊的话题,所以在让学生掌握句型时可先设置情景,让学生在情景中操练本课句型。为了调动学生的积极性和参与性,教师也可以通过小组讨论的方式来聊聊饮食问题,并进一步巩固一般现在时态和知道频率副词的用法。通过课文的呈现让学生知道好坏习惯,让学生在循序渐进中养成良好的饮食习惯。
