Teaching aims:
1. Enable the students to listen, read, say and write the words: a headache, bad, a cough, get, a fever, an earache, a backache, a stomach ache, a cold.

3. Enable the students to understand, read and say the sentence patterns: How do you feel now? I feel…I can get a/some … for you.
4. Enable the students to understand the rhyme.

跟学生讲解清楚feel后面跟形容词,不跟名词,注意c和d部分不要混淆。

Step2、 Presentation and Practice
1.( Teacher do the action: cold) T: Spring is coming, but it’s very cold .I’m cold. I feel cold. Learn the word and sentence: feel, I feel cold (Show them on cards, Read after the teacher, read one by one )
Ask students to do the action and say the sentence.
Ask one or two students)T: How do you feel now? S: I feel cold.
Learn the sentence: How do you feel now? (Show it on card, Read after the teacher, read one by one )
T: How do you feel now? I can get a blanket for you. (Talking with one student and give him a blanket.)
Learn the sentence I can get a blanket for you. (Show it on card, Read after the teacher, read one by one )
T: Can you help him/her?引导学生用I can get a coat/jacket/some hot water…for you.
2. Teach the other four pictures in the same way.重点练习I feel cold/hot/hungry/tired/thirsty/ill. I can get a/some…引导学生说食物,衣物等单词.

4. T: I feel ill today, I’ve got a toothache. (托腮) (Show the word: a toothache)
Teach the other words “ an earache, a backache, a headache, a stomach ache ”in the same way. 启发学生总结此类单词的词尾特点:后缀—ache /eik/ 疼痛
Teach the words: fever, cold, cough
T: (Show a picture) this boy/girl is ill
She/He has got a fever/ cold/ cough.
