教学内容:PartA. (The second period)
教学目标:
1.能听、说、读、写的单词和词组:last week, holiday,early,before class.   
2.能听懂、会说、会读的日常交际用语:Wonderful! Did you like the film?I was a funny cartoon.Were there any fruit trees on the farm?
教学重点:从整体上理解课文。
教学难点:初步运用规则动词的过去式进行交流。
教学准备:PPT课件,作业纸。
教学过程:
Step1 Warm-up:
1.        Greentings.
2.        Free talk:What did you do last night?What else did you do?
         Ask your deskmates.
(设计意图:通过自由对话,复习第一课时重点掌握的句型。同桌互相问一问,营造良好的英语学习氛围。)
Step2 Presetation:
1.        T:Look at the canlendar.What was the date?  Ss:It was Oct.1st.
2.         T:It’s the National Day .The National Day holiday is from Oct.1st to Oct.7th
Teach: the National Day holiday  
Compare:question和National
Find the pronunciation of holiday.(hot,litter,day)
(设计意图:利用日历呈现国庆节和国庆假期的概念.在学习新词组时,没有死板的教学生去记住发音。教学National时,让学生比较它与单词question中相同字母组合的不同发音。教学holiday时,让学生由hot,litter和day自发读出这个单词的发音。这样的方法更能体现对学生自学能力的培养,帮助学生养成良好的自学技巧。)
2.T:Do you want to know what I did on the National Day holiday?  ( Ss:Yes.)
  T:Try to ask me?        (Ss:What did you do on the National Day holiday?)
T:On the National Day holiday I watched a film.It was a funny cartoon.

(设计意图:在这个环节,创设教师国庆活动的情景。通过学生问,教师答,自然过度到本课的重点词组watch a film,a funny cartoon,以及句型Did you…?。接着让学生用Did you…?句型自由造句,加以巩固。)
3.T:        What else did I do?Look,I visited a farm.So what can we do on the farm?
  (Ss:We can milk cows,collect eggs,pull up carrots… )   T:Yes,we can do many many things on the farm.That’s interesting and wonderful!    Teach:wonderful
(设计意图:继续呈现教师的国庆活动,引导学生复习第一单元学过的有关农场活动的单词及词组,并自然过渡到新单词wonderful,让学生在具体语境中体会用法。)
Step 3 Practice:
T:On the National Day holiday,Helen also visited a farm.
Task1:请你用以Wh-(Who,Where,What,When等)开头的疑问代词对图片进行提问。
(设计意图:要求学生看图,自主提问,培养学生综合运用知识的能力。)
Task2:Read and answer。
     Q1:What date is it?( It’s the National Day holiday./Perhaps it’s the Oct.8th.)
Q2:Does Helen go to school late?( No,she doesn’t.She goes to school early).
     Q3:Where and when does Helen meet Nancy?( She meets Nancy in the school playground before class.)
     Teach:early, before class
(设计意图:要求学生带着三个问题,一起朗读课文引言部分,然后回答问题。第一个问题,学生可能一下子反应不过来,细细一想国庆节后应该是10月8日。第二和第三个问题解答后,教学重点单词和词组。)
Task3 :Watch the cartoon and answer the questions.
Q1:Did Nancy like the film?( Yes,she did.)
     Q2: Were there any fruit trees on the farm?( Yes,there were.There were apple trees,oranges trees and pear trees.)
     Q3:Does Nancy want to go to the farm,too?( Yes,she does.)
     Teach: Were there any fruit trees on the farm?
(设计意图:要求学生观看课文动画后回答问题。第一个问题复现Did …?句型的用法。第二个问题强调了be动词过去时一般疑问句的用法,并突破了重点apple trees的用法。)
Task4 :Read the text and fill in the table.(在找阅读题答案时,你可以根据问句中明显的词组在文中相关位置寻找,如时间状语。这有助于你快速找到答案。)

Task5:Judge the sentences and correct.
       先跟着录音朗读课文,在判断正误。
(设计意图:要求学生判断句子对错并将错句改正确,有助于学生从细节上分析课文。)
1.I watched a cartoon on Wednesday.(T)

Task6 :Try to retell the text with the help of the pictures and the sentences。
         先在小组里分角色朗读课文,在尝试复述课文。
帮助复述的句子:It was the...last week.

They…and…on Monday.
They…and…on Tuesday.
There were many…trees on the farm.
They …and…them.
      T:Now,do you want to go to the farm,too?
.(设计意图:要求学生先分角色朗读课文,再利用几张课文插图和几句关键句来复述课文。可请班中优、良、差三个学生分别复述,来了解学生的掌握情况。)
Task7 :Try to write something about your National Day holiday.

(设计意图:要求学生写一写自己的国庆节生活,注意运用规则动词的过去式。个别学生出现不规则动词过去时,教师应及时发现并呈现为板书,帮助学生积累一些不规则动词的过去时。)
Step4 Homework:
1.Copy the text.
2.Listen to the tape and try to recite the text.
3.Talk about last weekend with your classmates after class.
(设计意图:作业3要求学生讨论上周末的生活,让初步运用规则动词的过去式进行交流。)
