教学目标:
1.知识目标:
(1)能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词run, jump, housework, sweep, floor, clean, window
(2)能听懂、会说、会读、会写What are you doing? I’m… What is he/she doing? He’s/She’s…
(3)了解现在进行时和它的构成及动词的现在分词的构成。
2.能力目标:学习用英语打电话时的常用语,培养学生的文明礼仪,通过谈论家务劳动,进一步培养学生热爱劳动的习惯。
3.情感目标:通过漂亮的画面,真实的情境及自身的热情,激发学生的学习兴趣,发展学生自主学习的能力,引导学生敢于,乐于,善于开口说英语。
教学重、难点:

Step1. Warming Up
1.Greeting
T:Good morning, boys and girls.
S: Good morning.
T: How are you today?
S: Fine, thank you, And you?
T: Fine, thank you.
2.T:Let’s read the sentence: Where there is a will, there is a way.
3. T: Hello, can you sing the song  “ Hello, how are you”
Let Ss sing a song “ Hello, how are you”
Step2. Presentation
2.T: Hello, boys and girls, look, I’m standing.
     *stand---standing---standing, standing, I’m standing.
T: I’m standing. What are you doing?
S: I’m standing.
T: What are you doing?
S: I’m standing.
  *What are you doing?
T: What are you doing?
S: I’m standing.
T: Please ask your friend.
S1: What are you doing?
S2: I’m standing.
S2: What are you doing?
S3: I’m standing.
S3: What are you doing?
S4: I’m standing.
2.T: Hello, boys and girls. Are you standing?

3. T: Here’s a chant for you.
   Chant: Doing, doing, what are you doing?
Standing, standing, I’m standing.

4.T: Look , what am I doing? (T act “run”)
S: You’re running.
T: Yes, I’m running.
    *run---running
T: Look, am I running? (T act “jump”)
S: No.
T: I’m jumping.

5.T show some sentences:
I’m standing.
She’s jumping.
We’re sitting.

We’re having an English lesson.

小结:我们今天所学的是现在进行时,它表示正在发生的动作。
构成:be动词(am/is/are)+动词的现在分词(ing形式)
动词的现在分词形式有三种:
a.直接加ing (standing/jumping)
b.双写动词末尾的字母,再加ing (sitting/running)
c.去掉动词末尾的,再加ing (having/making)
6. T: Look at the pictures. What is he doing?
  S: He’s swimming.
  T: What is he doing?
  S: He’s swimming.
  T: You two, please.
  S1: What is he doing?
  S2: He’s playing basketball.
  S3: What is he doing?
  S4: He’s playing basketball.
  T: Look, you two, please.
  S1: What is she doing?
  S2: She’s singing.
  S3: What is she doing?
  S4: She’s dancing.
  T: What is he doing?(listen to the computer)
  C: I’m cleaning the windows.
    *clean the windows------cleaning the windows
T: He’s a good boy. Look, what is he doing?
C: I’m sweeping the floor.
    *sweep the floor------ sweeping the floor
T: He’s a good boy, too.
T: Look, who can ask me?
S: What are they doing?
T: They’re doing housework.
S: What are they doing?
T: They’re doing housework.
      *do housework ------doing housework

7. T: Today we’ll learn Unit6 Doing housework.
  (铃声突然响了)
a. T:Listen, the telephone is ringing. Nancy is making a telephone call. Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

Q3: How do they go?
b. Read the text
A: Hello!
B: Hello, is that Helen?
A: Yes, this is Helen speaking.
B: What are you doing?
A: I’m sweeping the floor.
B: Shall we go to Hongmei Park this afternoon?
A: All right. But how?
B: By bus.
A: OK. See you.
B: See you!
Step3. Consalidation
1.        Make a dialogue:
周日下午,Nancy已经做完了所有的家作,好无聊!她给好朋友Yang Ling打去电话,问她在忙些什么,能不能一起去公园玩玩?

A: Yes, this is ×× speaking.
