3B Unit 8 I’m hungry
一.教学内容:Unit8 I’m hungry (B)
二.教学目标:
   1.能听懂、会说表示食物的单词 a hot dog, a sandwich, some rice, some bread, a pie ,a bar of chocolate, soft drinks, a carton of milk 。
   2.能听懂、会说日常交际用语I’m hungry. I’m thirsty. What would you like? I’d like。。。
   3.能较熟练地运用本课所学的语言进行情景对话。
三。教学重点:
   通过听、说、读、唱,使学生掌握单词句型,并能够熟练表演对话。
四.教学难点:
   Some ,a bar of ,a carton of.的理解运用。
五.课前准备。
   1.食物图片:cake, egg, ice-cream, hamburger, milk, tea, juice, coffee, a hot dog, a sandwich, some bread, some rice, a pie, a bar of chocolate, a carton of milk, soft drinks
   2.  道具:服务员工作帽,工号牌,相关食物饮料,多媒体课件。
六.教学过程。
   Step 1.  Warm-up activities and revision.
A.     Listen to a song <<Hot cross buns! >>
B.      Free talk.
(1)T: Today, I don’t have lunch. So, I’m hungry. (Repeat and do body language)
  I’m hungry. Chinese meaning?
S: 我饿了。
Learn to say: I’m hungry.
S: I’m hungry.
T: What would you like? (Show the food card)
S: Cake.
T: What would you like?
S: Egg.
……
T: Who can ask me?
S: What would you like?
T: I’d like some cakes.
……
Learn to say: I’d like …
       (2)T: I’m very hot. I want some juice. I’m thirsty.
         I’m thirsty. Chinese meaning?
          Learn to say: I’m thirsty.
          S: I’m thirsty.
          T: What would you like? (Show cards)
          S: I’d like some milk.
          ……
   Make dialogues like this.      
  Group1\2 & Group3\4, T---Ss, T---S, S---S.
  Step 2: Presentation and practice.
     (1). S1: I’m hungry.
        S2: What would you like?
        S1: I’d like a cake.
        S2: Here you are. (取下相应的图片)
        ……
     (2). T: Now, no food and drinks left. Don’t worry. Let’s go to a food house.(出示食品店投影)
        T:What would you like? A hot dog?
        Show the card of hot dog, learn to say the word.
      The same way to teach: a sandwich, some bread, some rice, a pie, a bar of chocolate.
        T: Guess, what’s this? It’s white, everyday we drink it. (Body language and repeat it for several times)
        S: Milk.
        Show a carton of milk, learn to say it.
        The same way to teach soft drinks.
      (3). Game.
         Golden touch.
         Choose two students come to front of the classroom. The other students look at teacher’s mouth. Read the word which teacher says for 3times.Then, the two students who point the word more quickly will be the winner.
      (4). Look and learn. (SB P48 B)
         A. Listen and number
         B. Game.
           T: A hot dog.
           S: Number 1.
           …
           T: Number 1.
           S: A hot dog.
   Step 3: Consolidation.
(1)    Make dialogues.
Teacher set an example about salesgirl.
Ss: I’m hungry.
T: What would you like?
Ss: I’d like…

T: I’m tired. Who want to be a salesgirl or salesman?
Ss: I’m hungry.
S1: What would you like?
Ss: I’d like…
S1: Here you are.
       (2) Work in groups like that, then act out the dialogue.

S: 我饿了。 这里可以不用翻译,如果老师说现在几点(吃中饭的时间),引出我饿了,学生应该能体会不用翻译。

I’m very hot. I want some juice. I’m thirsty.          I’m thirsty. Chinese meaning同样渴了也可以不翻译,做个动作学生能体会
