Step Two Review
1) Watch the video of Cartoon time. Ask Ss read after the video and pay attention to the intonation and expression.

Step Three Sound time
1)Show the words “cinema, dance, ice cream, juice, nice” and ask the students read them and find the pronunciation of “c”.

2) Watch Sound time together and read after the tape.
3) Ask the Ss try to understand the pronunciation of “c”
4) Find some more words with “c” and have the same pronunciation.
Step Four Culture time
1)T show the pictures on the PPT and let Ss to understand the different expression of“第一层”in the UK and the USA.

2) Introduction:在英国英语中,地面的楼层叫ground floor一楼,上面一层叫first floor二楼,再上面一层叫 second floor(三楼);在美国英语中,地面的楼层叫first floor(一楼),second floor二楼,third floor三楼。我们选择了美国英语的表达方法。
3) T leads Ss to think about the difference between Chinese buildings and other countries’ buildings.
4) T shows more pictures and ask Ss to recognize the first floor and the ground floor.

1) Ss think and write down the answers on P24, and then talk with the partner.
2) Check the answers together.
3) Encourage Ss to imitate the checkout time and talk about your own school in pairs, appreciating to add your own opinion.
Step Six Ticking time
We have finished unit 2. What do you learn from Unit 2? Can you tell me? According to the above questions and ask Ss to finish the Ticking time by themselves and then in pairs.
