英语说课稿5B unit 4 (1)

Unit 4 An English friend
Good afternoon, everyone. I’m ***. I’m an English teacher from ***Primary School. I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas.  Now I’ll say The second lesson: Part B, Part C and Part D of Unit 4 in 5B of Oxford Primary School English. It is made up of four parts.
Part 1 My understanding of this lesson
1. The analysis of the teaching material:
This unit takes an important role in Book 5B, it refers to the grammar of ”Does…? ” and the answer “ Yes, … does./ No, …doesn’t” The students have learned the patterns:” Do…?” And the answers “Yes, … do./No, …don’t.” So this unit is the further learning of unit 3, and it prepares for the learning of unit 8.
2. The analysis of the students
1. The Ss have learned the structure: “Do you…? ” And the answer: ”Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.”
2. They don’t often use English to express themselves and communicate with others.
3. Some Ss are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes.

3. Teaching aims:
A. Knowledge aims:
a. Can listen, read, speak and write the words and phrases: fast, high, run fast, jump high.
b. Can listen read and write the phrases: speak loudly, dance beautifully, walk carefully, sit quietly.
B. Ability aims:
a. Can use the V+adv. Phrases correctly.
b. Can use the structures: What does… usually do …? Does …? Yes, …does. / No,… doesn’t.
C. Culture aims: Help the students have the ability of collecting the information about others.

4. Key points / Teaching important points:
Can use the phrases correctly.
Teaching difficult points:
Can understand the phrases and master the structures.
Part 2 My teaching theories, methods and aids
Before dealing with this lesson, I’ll do my best to carry out the following theories: Make the Ss the real masters in class while the teacher himself acts as director Combine the language structures with the language functions; Let the students receive some moral education while they are learning the English language.

Double activities teaching method
Question-and-answer activity teaching method
Free discussion method
Pair work or individual work method


Teaching aids:
1. a projector
2. a tape recorder
3. multi-media
4. pictures


Part 3. Teaching steps / procedures

Step 1 Warm up and free talk
1. Warm up   
We say hello from Sunday to Saturday.
2.        Free talk
T: What day is it?
S1: It’s …
T: What subjects do you like?
S2: I like…
T: What’s your hobby?
S2: I like …
T: Do you usually … on Sundays?
S2: Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
T: What do you usually do on Sundays?
(This step is to form a better situation for the students by singing and speaking . They will come into the  real surrounding of English learning, and it can also review the learnt knowledge for the next step. )
